Jesus' Birth Delay: Understanding the 4000-Year Wait

Jesus' birth was delayed for 4000 years due to sin entering the world.

Hello my dear brothers and sisters, my dear friends and whomever you are, whichever religion you belong, whichever culture you belong, whichever gender you belong, don't care. You're all my brothers and sisters, you're all my beloved friends. A warm welcome to this session where we are going to share some good news about this beautiful event or festival, Christmas. is an event or a festival which is widely celebrated across the world and I'm living in India and in India all people celebrate this this festival remembering the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and I personally know many of my friends belonging to various other religion they're fascinated to tithe stars and basically get a crib set and Christmas tree and all these things they put together and all colorful lights and it's full of, you know, fascinating time is all I could think of, think about. And most of the people, they don't even know why they are doing it, which is okay. But over a period of time, they have understood the importance behind this birth of Jesus Christ. And I always used to ask this question, why Jesus' birth was delayed for 4000 years? And I also used to ask another question. What if Jesus was not sent to this world? And this is the session. We are going to deal with these two important questions, which most of the people tend to ignore. They don't even try to ask this question. They tend to ignore. Why? Because they are very much focused on the, what is that, that reindeer and Santa Claus and wearing that cap and all that, which is not in Bible. But then I'm not against it. Have a jolly good time. Enjoy. He said the way to celebrate Christmas, you know, Santa Claus had been introduced. Why? Because they want to, you know, introduce the habit of sharing. You know, that's why Santa Claus comes with a big gift bag. All children are fascinated. Why? Because more than Christmas, more than Jesus, more than this understanding the significance of Jesus' birth and stuff like that, they're fascinated to receive the gifts. And that was introduced. There is a history I don't have time to tell you. It is to introduce the sharing. So in this Christmas season, on this Christmas day, please share a meal with somebody. Please buy some clothes and give it to the poor, the deprived, the downtrodden. Some of the widows, you could personally visit them and honor them and console them and see what you can do about their children's education and stuff like that. You could visit orphanage. You could visit old home. You could visit some of the general hospitals. where the government hospitals, people would not have money to pay their bills and stuff like that, buy medicines and stuff like that. There are multiple ways where we could really be of good help. In case if you are regularly helping people, that's fine. But if you are not helping people, Christmas is a wonderful time. And the reason for that Santa Claus is sharing. Now let's originally come back to the original question. There are two questions which we are going to review. consider this as a Christmas message to all our viewers, to all our subscribers. Wish you a Merry Merry Christmas. And I will wish you again. Just hang on. Don't go away. Alright. You are going to answer two important questions. The first question was, why was Jesus' birth delayed by 4000 years? Since the time the world began, Genesis 3.15. You know, when that Genesis 3.15 was basically written, 40 to 45 years from the time, the world was formed to its shape. The age of the world is 13.4 billion years. But it was filled with, it was void, it was dark and all that. Genesis chapter 1, verse number 1 you can read, 1 and 2 you can read. and there you will find God is bringing it, you know, it back to shape. Let there be light and sun rises, let there be, you know, light for the night and moon rises and all that, you know, you will see all the creations are being formed. I am not going to talk about that. Now, you know, it happened 6000 years ago and roughly the scribes are saying between 40 to 45 years since the time the world was formed is when Adam and Eve fell into sin. and from that time sin entered into this world mankind was separated from God's presence because mankind lost the glory for the wages of sin is death where there is spiritual death because of some sinful deeds in your life you will lose the presence of God you will lose God's relationship and you will be separated from the presence of God that's why Bible always tells you really need to confess your sins let there be remission for your sins Let there be repentance for your sins and let there be overcomers and therefore you are reconciled with the Father in heaven. Revelation 3.21, Acts 2.38, 1 John 1.7-10, all this you can read later. Now it not more of a biblical message but in general this is a common message to all the people all the viewers belonging to any religion It does not matter That why I not quoting much of scriptures here right You need to understand Sin entered into this world and therefore man lost the glory, women lost the glory, which means they lost that relationship. Until then, God used to come every day and have fellowship. They were able to see God's face, face to face. As our friend walks with another friend, as our father walks with, his own child, the father God was having that fellowship. But after that sin entered, Eden garden was shifted to a different place. Even today also, that place is called as the Valley of Zion. No habitation has taken place there. And Adam and Eve were chased out of that place. And they found a different dwelling and they were continuing to lead their lives. And from that time onwards, father God never, never met them face to face. But God was gracious that you shall earn bread through the sweat and through your hard work. And he starts to toil the ground and all that, you know, till the ground and then, you know, toil in the sunlight. And he was able to get into agriculture and all that story, you know. Now, Genesis 3.15, you know, God said something to the devil. Since you have deceived my mankind, since you have made the first Adam to fall down in sin, I will be sending my own son who will be the second Adam and the second Adam will come and revive this earth the second Adam will come and save this earth from sin, the second Adam will once again get all that the mankind had lost all the blessings that God had given all the liberty that God had given all the prosperity that God had given until sin came to this world there was nothing much that Adam and Eve were expected to do They were running a normal life. They used to get, they used to play with the animals. This is my imagination. It is not in the Bible. And they will get all sorts of fruits. They were all vegetarians. No non-vegetarian was there. And they get everything to eat. And they didn't have to, you know, toil in the sun or till the ground or the method of agriculture itself was not introduced. But when sin came, for the wages of sin is death. And before, between the wage and between the death, there happened something called as punishment. And the punishment for them is to, now you go. You know, nothing will be, you know, no plant will come and deliver its fruit, just like that, but you have to work, because that is the punishment for your sin. On that day, God said, I will send my second Adam. And there is a revelation given there that what kind of death Jesus will undergo. He will be crucified. You will be bruising his heel and he will be crushing your head. Jesus through his death had been resurrected and he had crushed the head of the Satan right under his feet, Romans 16.20 says. But even before Romans 16.20 was written, Genesis 3.15 was written. There itself Jesus was introduced to the world. And many people if you ask, they will tell, yeah, when was Jesus introduced to this world? They will tell 2000 years ago. No, no. Jesus was introduced in the beginning himself. Everything was created for him, through him. and, you know, without the sun, there is no glory. So, it was not designed that way. You know, before sin came, there was no concept of Jesus, Messiah, redemption, deliverance from the bondage, you know, freedom from the bondage of sickness, sin and all that. There was no concept, no concept of death also, right? Now, since you have sinned, you came from dust, therefore you will return back to dust. All this you will see in Genesis chapter 3. The concept of death and the original design, The original architecture, if you take that original blueprint of God, the way how he created this world, there was no concept of death. But sin entered and it brought all this curse on the mankind. It was not God's will, but it was man's will to separate himself from God. But he sent a second Adam, through whose blood the redemption happens. Through whose blood the cleansing of sins takes place because he died as that lamb without blemish. Hebrews 17, Hebrews 2, 17, 18, Hebrews 4, 14, 16 says this. You can refer that later. Now, that is why in the name of Jesus, when you claim, the petitions are going to be answered. That is the significance of this name. Now, why his birth was delayed for 4000 years and what if Jesus would not have come? All these two questions I will answer and quickly, six minutes I will answer. You know why Jesus' birth was delayed for 4000 years? whatever I have told you people have never understood the significance of his birth that is why God was thinking how could I bring this what to say there how could I help the mankind to understand the significance because they have they have just fallen and they did not understand what to do each one started inventing their own methods there were hunters there were musicians there were skilled workers who were in civil construction Babel Tower was built and and people were, you know, into lust and mating with animals and all this nonsense, everything happened. But nobody thought about this Genesis 3 except for few saints like Enoch or Noah or few other people right Methuselah and all these people Nobody thought Therefore God was thinking how could I instill this significance? Because if Jesus were to be sent immediately, they would not understand the value. So God does not want his son to be sent so cheaply. And anyway, Jesus' ministry would not be the limelight because they were all busy. and in between flood came and abolished, God abolished, every mankind, only Noah was there, all the story you know. Therefore, God designed, let me frame a community and the name of the community was Israel. Now, why God framed that community is not that he is so, you know, to execute favoritism, not that he is so much in favor of only that community. No, he created that community as a role model, as a model, right? You create a model, right? all these clay models you create. Before constricting, for example, a 20-tour building, they will create a clay model and they will show that this is the way and three dimensions. Nowadays, it's graphic world and the graphics world and you can do it in computer and show like a model God want to create. And that model's name is Israel. From that Israel's race, from the genealogy, Jesus was born. Now, Israel was a demonstration to the entire world with numerous laws and commandments and instructions that were given, how the mankind could preserve themselves from sinful deeds, right? And what if they sinned? What if they slip off? Now, there is a plan that's called as plan of atonement, right? How can you redeem yourself? How can you free yourself from that sinful deed? Now, everything was going well, but they did not understand one fact that each Each time they sin, they have a remediation plan or a redemption plan. But that plan is valid only for that day or until the next time you sin. You are not going to be free of sin. Or who knows? For example, if I sin, if I prostitute with a female, I go to the priest and get sanctified sacrificing a bull. That is the way how the law is written. There are various sacrifices in the Bible. I won't get into the details. and you sacrifice the bull, you ate and all that. While coming on the way, again you met with another prostitute. Because the weakness of the flesh is inside you. That has not been cleansed. That has not been abolished. Only externally for that sin, you got freedom for that day. This is what God wants to tell the people through Israel. Israel, we formed a community because nobody listened to God. how many times God would be continuously abolishing sending flood sending flood fire and all that so God doesn't want to do that because he has taken an oath he made a promise to Noah our great-grandfather who told that I will never ever do such a thing because I feel sorry for what I have done because he saw that Noah was all alone in the world and God doesn't like us to be lonely therefore God decides I will frame a community I will give them some instructions laws and commandments to make them understand that all this external wave of cleansing will not sustain for too long. So, what happened is over a period of time, 5,500 years had gone past. People were very happy sacrificing bull, dove and all that and again sinning. Bull, dove and again sinning. And okay, sacrificing lamb and again sinning. So, at some point of time, the mankind started realizing what kind of life is this? How long can I live my life in sin? How long can I tolerate this defeated life? How long can I allow this sin to reign in me? I want a permanent remedy. I want a permanent cleansing. I really want to come out of it. In other words, they have started to look at the sin that is right inside them. So the external outlook, their Their visibility was on the externals. The focus got shifted to the internals. Ah, now God said, yeah, this is the right time to send my only son. That is why God delayed this, you know, Jesus for 4000 years. Towards, I mean, two centuries before Jesus was born is when mankind really started screaming loud. they revealed, they looked at all the prophecies you know, prophet Isaiah spoke about Messiah Jeremiah spoke about Messiah, Daniel spoke everyone, Micah spoke, Malachi spoke, Abakuk spoke Abadiyah spoke, Zachariah spoke, all these things they really compiled and they started crying aloud Oh Lord, please send Messiah, only he can deliver us through whose blood there is cleansing and he will send this Holy Spirit who will become our helper and he will definitely lead us through the scriptures and we will start fixing what is inside and rather than focusing outside. Because if inside thing is fixed, you know, out the external will be all clean correct or not right When there is a dirt you got to clean the dirt Leaving the dirt you clean the entire room and the dirt is still continuing there in the middle of your house No you will leave the entire room. You will focus on the dirt and you will be flushing it out. Similarly, the internal sins, for example, Matthew chapter 5 verses 22 to 30, if you read, inside if anger is there, that is transformed as murder. Inside the lust and lust for sex is there, that is transformed as prostitution. But the old covenant, people were focusing on prostitution only. If on the moment I commit a prostitution, I will go and consult the priest and I will ask him, what is the remediation plan? How can I be redeemed and free? No. Jesus came with a different teaching and he told that. Because why? The mankind should understand without Jesus, they will not get new covenant. Without Jesus, they will not go through the cleansing process because an animal's blood cannot cleanse them and make them free of bondage. They need Jesus' blood. Jesus' blood is pure and sanctified, free of sin and blemish. And we all need Jesus to help us. Mankind realized this. And therefore, Jesus was sent. Yes, there was a delay, but the delay, the reason for the delay was not God. It was the mankind. All right. What if Jesus was not sent? All that I told you, we would not have enjoyed. There would not be freedom from bondage. There would not be freedom from, deliverance from your problems. There would not be someone who will be there to able to mediate, intercede for your needs and my needs. There is no name. Without Jesus' name, your petitions are not going to be answered. There are so many things. There is something called as grace, which means what? In this concept alone, I will explain quickly and I will tell you. I will close it. The olden days PUC, you know, there are 10 subjects. If you fail in one subject, you have to write all the 10 subjects. Then over a period of time, that's why olden days PUCs, in means brilliant. They are considered as most intellectual in India. Then they change the system, it's okay. Nine subjects you pass, leave it. Whatever subject you failed, only you write that and therefore you will be clear. The same thing became arrears, semester system and arrears in college. Old covenant is PUC. New covenant is semester system. Understood. old covenant if you had passed 612 commandments and failed in 613th commandment you need to start from first you need to once again prove everything but here god is ready to forgive you for that sin and he is ready to accept all that you have overcome and you can keep on working keep on working that's why it's a very important habit to keep a journal a ledger of all your sinful deeds and start ticking you know you're done with this you're done with this you're done with this you're done with this, you are done with this. And slowly you will be becoming like Jesus. John 14, 12, Jesus said, you can become like me and you will do things more than I have done. Only thing, follow the principles. Only thing, only thing, follow the right doctrines and follow my teaching. All these things you would not have got, I would not have got if Jesus had not been sent. And we would not get be free from, free of all sinful deeds. Today, you and I can have the assurance that you can, you and I can live free of alcoholic, you can be a free of, you can be free of drug addiction. You can be free of anger. You can be free of gossiping. You can be free of bloodshed. You can be free of any sin. 2 Timothy 3, 1 to 9, you take and read. Gossiping is a sin. Backbiting is a sin. Envying is a sin. Pride is a sin. Anger is a sin. All these things are internal matters. It happens right inside you. You can be free of all this. Why? Because in the name of Jesus, God is ready to send his Holy Spirit to help you and me. Through the blood of Jesus, you and I have remission of sins. All the sins of the past will be forgiven. Forgiven. And you can start afresh. And you can start working on the weaknesses that are currently there. And you can start working on those. And you will be free. You don't have to start from the very first thing. You know, that is old covenant. Alright? So today, I hope you understood the significance of Jesus' birth. You understood why Jesus' birth was delayed for 4000 years. You also understood what if Jesus' name was not there. What if the blood of Jesus was not there. What all we would be, mankind would be going through as a loss, right? Today, we have lot of gain and profit in the name of Jesus, not only materialistic, but spiritually also, right? Don't worry. If you have not understood so far, don't worry. But today onwards, please have a different mindset when you look at Christmas, not against Santa Claus, Crip and all that. Even we also do all that. It is very nice. Even I also like to enjoy. So, have a good festival time with your family, friends. Please wish one another and to possible extent share about Jesus, right? That's very important. Share the word of God, share about the love of Jesus and share that blessings that you have, right? Look after the at least one poor family who can feed, have that as target.
