Praise the Lord, my dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the manchalist name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always, I am very, very happy and privileged to be part of these sessions and I want to thank God who enables such wonderful fellowship, such wonderful moments in life that we are able to meet together and meditate from the Word of God. We all have various challenges in life, but here we are together, unified and united under this one gospel, under this one name, the name of Jesus. welcome to the short session where we are always dealing through short subjects and we try to shed light in in in in the stipulated time in this confined you know time and then we meditate with all due diligence you know how we could be the practitioners of the word and not just the hearers and not only that we illustrate a lot of things we take you through a lot of practical teachings how you could live your life on earth in the midst of challenges, in the midst of troubles, how you could be overcomers. There are many things that we are going to discuss. All right. We had been doing that study from the book of Psalms. So we have done studies from Psalms 1, Psalms 4, Psalms 5, Psalms 6 and you know many other Psalms. Today we are going to meditate from Psalms 12. Psalms 12 is a very important Psalms. Why? Because just for its title itself. It's going to gain that importance and attention from everyone. What is the title? Title is man's treachery and God's constancy. Many people don't understand the meaning of treachery and constancy. I also had to refer my Oxford dictionary. I'll be very honest to you. Treachery is nothing but unfaithfulness and constancy is nothing but God's consistency in being faithful. Bible says in other scriptures you can see that man is unfaithful but God is always faithful. God can never be unfaithful to his creations because it's not part of God's DNA. Now, what is this faithfulness and unfaithfulness? It's nothing but you are true, you are compassionate, you are honest, right? All these things constitute to one word called as faithfulness. You can read Psalms 145, 8 and 9. God is bound to compassion, slow to anger, everlasting mercies and Isaiah 55, Isaiah 54, 10, 11. He's full of kindness in his heart and his mercies are far above the heavens. All these things you will be able to read. What it tells us because, what is basically conveying at the end of the day is about God's character, about God's attitude, about God's compassion. Why? Because he looks down and he understands that he is man and he is made out of dust, he is a piece of mud. That's what he sees. And he's very, very faithful and he's very, very faithful because he's compassionate, right? In the similar way, men are always unfaithful or most of the men are unfaithful. Men means mankind. Why? Because there are different categories in this unfaithfulness. First, let us review that and we will get into the subject. What kind of categories? We'll talk about worldly categories, right? I am talking only about Christians, not about unbelievers. There are fair-weathered Christians, then all goes well, no, they will be lifting, elevating God to the sky. But one simple incident that are against their, you know, prosperity, that induce some sort of losses and some sort of sickness and this and that, that's it. They will pull down this faithful God to the unfaithful category. That's called as unfaithfulness. That means what? You are ungrateful. Ungrateful. Why? Because you have never considered what all God had done in your life and how he helped you to overcome similar situations, you know, whenever you had, you know, came across a similar situation in the past and he's still the same God. That's why Job said to his wife, how can you call God, you know, a bad guy? When all was well, you called him good God and you praised him. And how is it you don't accept anything that he permits for whatever reasons? Because he is God. Bible says in Romans 9 and verse 20 that who can question God's will? Who can question God's ways? Yeah, he's the potter and we are the clay. And he has every right to do anything with our lives. But I'm telling you, he's good God. All his plans for us are not for evil, but for good, Bible says in Jeremiah 29, 11. And such a God is going to have that character only to do good and not evil. And that's why you will see in this world, people who understand this specific doctrine are very, very few in numbers. In fact, the world is really, really running so fast that people are becoming very impatient. And there is, everything is instant, right? These days see those days only email was discovered two decades ago Nowadays Facebook Twitter and all that instant messaging it reaches the whole world Trillions of people millions of people can view your message in one click of the button right Everything is instant. Everything is instantaneous. Every reaction, every emotion is instantaneous. There is no patience at all in this world that you would be able to see, right? And patience kills fate. Patience will bring you to instant disappointment. it. Why? Because Bible is all about patience. And when you want to allow God to fulfill his will and divine plan, you got to have a lot of patience. Why? Because you will have zero understanding what is God trying to do in the background. And that is why you are not able to understand his plans, understand his faithfulness. Because Christians these days are really like, you know, very impatient. And when they claim the word of God from the word of God and the promises, they want immediate results. If results are not delivered, then they will call God in whatever names, you know. And they will say God, a deaf God, a blind God, this God, that God. That is also, that is the first category, right? And that is also one form of ungodliness. Please understand that. If you are unfaithful, you are ungrateful, you have lack of knowledge in God's faithfulness, you are having some, you know, demonic wisdom and you are having some evil spirits that possessed you and that is pulling you down. You need to really watch out. Second category of people already covered, those that claim but they don't get results immediately. But after they get the results, you know, in due course of time, they will understand, right? They will rectify their errors and they will come away from this form of ungodliness to the godly state. Third category of people know, they don't know anything about God, but they have some form of godliness because they are born in a Christian family. They will simply go to church. They don't know anything about Bible. Don't know means what Bible will be there. They won't be making efforts to read, understand Bible, understand God, understand the character of God, understand about his love. John 3, 16. They won't understand how much God loved the world that he sent his only son. They don't have any understanding about sin and sinful deeds. Nothing. According to them, everything is right. Why? Because they're praying about it. What prayer? Simply It's like a flying kiss to God. God, today I want this need. Please grant it. He's not running a shopping mall, right? You go with your shopping list and he gives you everything that you want. They judge God according to the response what they receive from God. If God doesn't respond to their prayer, he is unfaithful God, ungrateful God, deaf God, dead God, something like that. But he responds, you know, immediately they will praise God. Oh, God is there alive and all that. So I would say that, you know, they have nothing to do with Bible. Please don't call yourself as Christians, first of all. Right? You are a normal human being. And you are God's creation only. God loves you. I definitely pray in my heart that you come to God and please understand what is written in Bible. That's exactly the reason why we are taking you through scriptures. Alright? So, I can go on with more categories, but this is enough, I think, to set the basics, you know, and context. Now, in interest of time, we will get into Psalms 12, verse number 1. And don't you think so? So, whatever I have explained, the form of ungodliness is on the majority, the side of majority. 99% of people in Christendom are on the side of majority wearing that form of, you know, portraying themselves as godly but inside full of ungodliness. Why? They are unfaithful, ungrateful to God and they don't understand what God the Father wants to accomplish in their lives. They don't have vision of God's divine will and plan in their lives and all that. very less people, less than one percentage of people are the ones to be called as godly because they have understood everything that God wants to do in their lives because they are grounded and rooted in the word of God. Blessed are they. God is pleased with them. Very few people. Let's read first verse. Help, Lord. I'm reading from Psalms 12.1. Okay. Help, Lord, for the godly man seized. Godly man seized for the faithful disappeared from among the sons of men. Why? Because from the faithful category, it's very, very easy for you to get dragged into that unfaithful category. Because why? So many troubles in the world. So many situations. You don't have to go for search. You don't have to go and search for trouble. You just sit at home. Trouble will come in search of you. John 14.1, Jesus already told in this world there are full of troubles. Someone will come in some form. Devil will send them to test your faith. They speak idly everyone with his neighbor, with flatteries and double heart they speak. Now this is about the character of unfaithful category people who belong to that category unfaithful category they will have flattering lips Always you know telling lies speaking lies praising somebody to gain something you know praising somebody appropriately is okay but inappropriately and for what don't know what they don't deserve the guy is dark tan faced and you will say you know you look so charming and all that and that fellow also believes him why he will gain something probably will get a lift in his car or maybe he will get some gifts on his birthdays. Very silly people, you know. Please don't get into all that. This is the character of the person who depends on men and not on God. Unfaithful category. God rejected, let me find my own ways. People get into that. You know, God rejected, brother. What to do? I need to do something about it. No, you can't do anything about anything. You can't do anything about anything. Simple. Confusing English. Nothing is in your control, brother. Flesh is weak. Flesh is weak. You can't achieve anything without God's help. God is omniscience. You need Him. Please depend on Him. With flattering lips and a double heart, they speak always in confused mindset, wavery mindset, like that waves tossed by the wind back and forth, seesaw, seesaw people. A lot of Christians are like that. James 1.6 talks about it. Take and read, right? May the Lord cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaks proud things who have said, with our tongue we will prevail. You see? Our lips are our own. Who is Lord over us? Did I not tell you? They will say, God, you please stay out of our life. We know what to do. We are sourced with enough wisdom and such people know they will prosper but the prosperity is not from God. It's from the devil. Devil also can prosper people, you know. He can take the top 10 rich people in the Forbes list of Forbes you will definitely find all people are basically the ones who are worshipping the devil yeah liquor selling fellow will be number one you know another guy you know selling some products which are no use for the mankind like tobacco sellers they are all in top rich you know where is their prosperity coming from not from God and they could be believers in Christ giving the tithe and offering from that money that's money of blood you know they are killing people and looting people and coming and giving the tithe. You know, it's blood money. God will not even look into that. You're demons. Because why? You're always inventing your own methods. You're not consulting God. You're not verifying the scriptures. You're not abiding in the laws and commandments. You will not be able to settle your accounts. You will be giving an account of all your deeds, malicious deeds. Yeah? And because why? You're proud in your heart. I will invent my own methods and the devil will source you with wisdom. Devil also can has powers to help his people. That's the challenge between God and devil, right? Yeah, you bless your people, let me bless my people and let us see who worships whom. 99% of the people in this world, they worship devil through some or other form, including Christians. That's why I'm telling you, you're all shocked. For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy. Now I will arise, says the Lord. What is the oppression of the poor? Because of these few guys, there are a lot of people who are really, really losing their lives. For example, the guy who sells liquor, he is killing so many people and their children are, you know, being orphaned. Their wives, you know, become widow because this guy dies. His liver is spoiled. Tobacco gets into lung cancer and the wife is running between hospitals and all the money is being spent. Who are you? You are killing people. You are a murderer. Yeah? And God will defend for the needy, for the oppressed category. And when God defends, I will tell you what, you dare not mess with God. His anger will definitely consume you, Bible says. Consuming anger. Now I will arise, says the Lord. If God rises up, who can stand against him? Jesus did not rise up. He walked into certain regions. The devils came. when the demons came, the evil spirits came in trembling fear, oh why have you come to torment us because they were once serving God, they know his powers, only because of you know, it's only human beings like you and me, we neither understand the wiles of the devil nor the powers of God, we are like half cooked vegetables that's why read the Bible read the Bible again and again please gain that godly wisdom and knowledge and get out of this habit. God will rise up. I will set him in the safety for which he earns. Yeah. He will fight and defend for the oppressed and he will consume you Yeah And the words of the Lord are pure words like silver tried in the furnace of earth purified seven times Just now I told you What can get you to the better side What can get you to the side of righteous deeds? Nothing else other than the word of God. That's why you got to be grounded and rooted and meditate in the word of God. Day and night, God is well pleased with him. Why? Because he will end up doing everything right by the leading of the Holy Spirit. And Holy Spirit cannot lead you. Many people think supernatural power, he will lead you in nothing. John 14, 26. Holy Spirit will lead you from the scriptures, that too teachings and preachings of Jesus Christ. Why new covenant is very important? New covenant is nothing but extension of old covenant, which means old covenant is encompassed within the new covenant. New covenant is not existing all by itself. Matthew 5, 17. Jesus said, I did not come to abolish the old covenant, but I fulfilled the laws and therefore I am extending it to the new standards. And that's why the Holy Spirit tells here that I will preach and teach from the word of God. That is Jesus, whatever he spoke and taught, John 14, 26, which means Jesus spoke and taught both from old covenant and new covenant. And new covenant is an elevated standard. For example, you commit adultery when you go and lie with a prostitute, but new covenant says if you have the thought and desire, there itself you have committed adultery. You don't have to touch a female. If you have the attitude that I will touch her there, it's if you are a prostitute, you have committed prostitution. These are the new standard laws. Wonderful, isn't it? You have a desire to steal and cheat somebody already over a cheater. You are condemned. Very tough. And that's where the Holy Spirit will lead you. And how can you sin? What is the room? What is the provision? How are you provisioned and sourced with those sinful thoughts? No way. You will unplug it, dare itself. and you shall keep them. That's why word of God is pure. It is going to refine you. Cleansing process, you know, transformation process of your spirit and renewal of mind. Romans 12, 1 and 2. All of you know that, right? Renewal of mind and examine your inward feelings, introspection, all that you know. You shall keep them, O Lord. You shall preserve them from this generation forever. He's praying, please grant this blessing to this generation, let them be grounded and rooted in the word of God. Let the word of God lead them towards clarity and light. The wicked prowl on every side when vileness is exalted among the sons of men. You know, that's why you will see 99% of the world is always on the prowling side. They will be quick to anger. They will be always quick to fight. They will be always quick to comment, grumble, gossip, murmur, this and that which is completely contrary to the Word of God. Word of God is all about patience, joy, love, peacemakers, pursue peace with people and therefore you are holy, holy deeds, righteous deeds and long-suffering spirit, tolerant and quick to forgive, slow to anger, all these things, you know, character of God is completely in contradiction to what the world is basically teaching. Because why? These guys do not know anything about the Word of God. And how about Christians? That's what I told you, right? Worldly Christians, namesake christians mainline churches traditional churches they are not reading bible at all and therefore what happens in the name of jesus they end in corruption and that's even more dangerous you all have to give an account you need to justify how much you defamed the glory of jesus and the outsiders are looking at as unbelievers right they also know bible they also know jesus teaching to some extent they don't see any of the dinners and when you say that oh jesus loves you and all that. First of all, you go and love Jesus and then talk about Jesus' love to me. This is exactly what they tell us. You know, it's almost like spitting on somebody's face and putting them to shame. That is the state of Christians. That's why there is no respect for Christians in the world today, you know, especially amongst unbelievers. They definitely don't respect us. Because why? We are not walking in the word of God, abiding in the laws and commandments of God. Please bring that correction in you and then be the light to the world. God bless you.
