Dear listener, You may be a professing believer in Jesus Christ, or you may be one who has never accepted Christ's precious offer of eternal life through His death, burial, and resurrection. But it is my hope and prayer that you will listen attentively to what you have been given in terms of this life-saving warning called an alarming prophetic dream. This dream was given to me after months of consistent prayer and intercession in seeking the Lord and asking for revelation in what He wants us to teach and proclaim in these last days before He returns to this earth. I plead with you to listen carefully and remember Jesus Christ is coming soon, very soon. Please take your salvation serious and do not neglect it because of worldly concerns and the business of life. This is the alarming prophetic dream the Lord gave in answer to my prayers. May His Spirit greatly impact your life as He did mine with this revelation. Not too long ago, the Lord gave me a profound, frightening and very real dream. In the dream, I saw a woman with her children. The children were young people in their teens. They were not little children. They reported to the mother about something that was happening down the street, and evidently it was pretty serious because she immediately set out with something in her arms like a bag filled with something pertinent to address the critical situation at hand. She was a proper and matronly looking woman, and I saw her walking briskly along a sidewalk next to a wall, a well-built wall, a brick wall that you might see around a huge estate or mansion. And as she was walking, I was like a seer in the dream. As she was approaching the area of her destination, she began to walk up an incline and it seemed as she came to the top of the hill, I suddenly saw a sight that was truly a sight to behold. I saw a huge, gigantic ship that you might see in the early years. It might have been a Spanish ship. It had large mass. There were so many mass, so many mass that it would blow your mind, especially if you were a sailor. As I was following this woman, I suddenly began to rise above her, and I felt like I was being taken up in the spirit. I slowly went higher in the air and I rose higher and higher and could clearly see the full view of the ship now and I can tell you that the ship was so large and so big and so massive that it took my breath away even in the dream and I'm thinking, what is this all about? Only in a dream could something possibly be as large as a ship except possibly the ark that Noah had built, I don't know. And as I was taken up in the spirit above the ship, I could hear the sound of little children playing on the ship. And somehow in the dream, I knew that this was a children's plaything. It belonged to the little children. And in the next scene, I was taken up above the ship and rose higher and higher into the atmosphere above what seemed like the Earth's orbit. And I saw a massive cloud that was almost indescribable in its vastness and size. And this cloud was almost like something that you would see in a graphic of one of the layers of the Earth. This cloud was like that. It was like a cutout of seeing something specific, and suddenly I was taken alongside this layer of angry, massive formation. and it was unbelievable. It was very frightening to see. And the cloud was living and vibrant and was ever-changing in its formation. And the power that was contained within it was unbelievable. I saw things coming out of this angry formation like being spewed out. And I saw so many things being spewed out like you might see in the eruption of a volcano. only the things coming out of this mass was not lava but the power it contained was as powerful as a volcano or it could even be likened to the powerful energy of the sun that we might see in videos that show up close action of the mighty indescribable power contained within the sun and the videos show the sun spewing out energy and masses of what look like molten lava but we know that it is the intense heat that bursts beyond the circumference of the body of the sun. And this intense, indescribable heat and power comes from the core of the sun's interior. Dear believer, what I saw being spewed out of this angry, massive cloud formation were bodies. Yes, I said I saw bodies being spewed out. and as these bodies were spewed out of this cloud formation I saw that the force of their being spewed out was in such an explosive manner that it caused their limbs to go flying off into all directions opposite of their bodies and these belongings of the people were being spit out as well with just as much intense force as their bodies were being spewed out I gasp in agony and horror after being taken parallel along this cloud for a long distance to see and be shown a sight that I'm sure might have dwarfed what Daniel saw as he grew faint and weak at the horror of what he was shown in the last day of what was to come. Well, if this was not enough, then I found myself as though I were below the surface of the earth. and I was looking up at what appeared to be an opening of a large and vast chasm and the sight was equally as terrifying. I saw bodies falling into the chasm and the noise and the sound of this horrible sight was blood chilling. I felt like I might have been seeing how it could have possibly looked when the ground was opened up and Korah and his family fell into the grave of hell that they had won for themselves by lying and rebelling against God and his authoritative standards. In the dream, I shook myself to wake up because of what I was seeing was so horrible and terrifying and awful. And as I shook myself to wake up, I did wake up in the natural. and I said oh God forgive me if this dream is from you and you had more to show me but if this dream was not from you then oh Lord I have just had a horrible nightmare and as I was sharing the dream with my husband Lee and telling him what I shared with you just now I said Lee it is like the scripture says in Revelation 3 15 I know the record of your works and what you are doing and you are neither hot nor cold would that you were cold or hot so because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot I will spew you out of my mouth for you say I am rich I have prospered and grown wealthy and I am in need of nothing and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked and as I spoke to Lee the Spirit of the Lord spoke so clearly to me and witnessed his presence to both of us. The Holy Spirit said, even if you were to tell them the truth of what I have shown you, the majority will still not believe you. And what the Lord had shown in his righteous judgment and justice in being spewed out of his presence were multiple and millions of Christians who did not take him nor his way serious while they have the opportunity on this earth. The large ship represents the church in her generations of time and even today. The leaders and captains who are called apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers represent church leaders but are acting like little children and making up their own rules based on their natural instinct and not upon God-given discernment that comes and arises out of growing into the fullness of maturity in the place of union and fellowship with God and His Word. We talk about life in the Spirit or walking in the Spirit, but for the most part, this is all talk, and the fruit does not back up the conversation. But the mature ones know clearly what God says in His words, and they hold it in high esteem and will not compromise or water it down to make people feel good or to give them warm fuzzies about themselves. And this is why they are called the faithful ones and will receive an overcomer's crown and a robe of righteousness. They are considered and represent the hundredfold in the casting of the good seed that took root in Jesus' parable of the sower. Or they are called the fathers in John chapter 2 where he speaks to the three distinct groups of people. that is to the fathers, the boys or the lads, and finally to the little children. The upright matronly woman in this dream represents the segment of righteous leadership in the church today. She, the woman, does not represent female gender only, but represents both male and female leadership, who will step out to address and correct the error in the church even when it's not a popular thing to do. Her teenage children represent those members of the church who are the 60-fold in spiritual understanding and growth in their maturity. They are the young adults, as John called them, boys and lads. They comprehend the difference between right and wrong and the natural, but also have been given discernment to know spiritual warfare that the enemy so cleverly schemes and devises. you see this dream is a serious warning to the church please take it as that God is getting ready to spew many out of his mouth because they have been living like Korah and his family his judgment is on the way make no mistake about it Thank you. The following is a stunning vision given to an American preacher named Tommy Hicks. Mr. Hicks was a central figure in the powerful 1954 Argentina revival. There is not much known about this man, but what you can and will find is that he was a dedicated servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. His ministry was powerful not only in his evangelistic efforts, but also in healing and in miracle signs and wonders. Multitudes of souls had come to the Lord during this powerful 1954 revival. Tommy Hicks' vision is of the body of Christ and the end-time ministries. Tommy begins by saying, My message begins July 25th, about 2.30 in the morning at Winnipeg, Canada. I had hardly fallen asleep when the vision and the revelation that God gave me came before me. The vision came three times exactly in detail the morning of July 25, 1961. I was so stirred and moved by the revelation that this has changed my complete outlook upon the body of Christ and upon the end-time ministries. The greatest thing that the Church of Jesus Christ has ever been given lies straight ahead. It is so hard to help men and women to realize and understand the thing that God is trying to give His people in these end times. I received a letter several weeks ago from one of our native evangelists down in Africa, down in Nairobi. This man and his wife were on their way to Tanganyika, and they could neither read nor write, but we had been supporting them for two years. They entered into the territory of Tanyanika and they came across a small village. The entire village was evacuating because of a plague that had hit the village. He came across natives that were weeping and he asked them what was wrong. They told him of their mother and father who had suddenly died and had been dead for three days. They had to leave. They were afraid to go in. They were leaving them in the cottage. The evangelist turned and asked them where the parents were They pointed to the hut and he asked them to go with him but they refused They were afraid to go The native and his wife went to this little cottage and entered in where the man and woman had been dead for three days He simply stretched forth his hands in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and spoke the man's name and the woman's name, and said, In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command life to come back into your bodies. Instantly, these two heathen people, who had never known Jesus Christ as their Savior, sat up and immediately began to praise God. The spirit and power of God came into the life of those people. To us, that may seem strange and a phenomenon, but that is the beginning of these end-time ministries. God is going to take the do-nothings, the nobodies, the unheard of, and the no-accounts, and He is going to take every man and woman, and He is going to give to them this outpouring of the Spirit of God. In the book of Acts, we read, In the last days, God said, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. I wonder if we realize what He meant when God said, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. I do not think I fully realize, nor could I understand the fullness of it, and that I read from the book of Joel. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he hath given you the former rains moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain and the former rain and the latter rain. Joel 2.23 It is not only going to be the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain, but he is going to give to his people in these days a double portion of the power of God. As the vision appeared to me after I was asleep, I suddenly found myself in a great high distance. Where I was, I do not know, but I was looking down upon the earth, and suddenly the whole earth came into my view. Every nation, every kindred, every tongue came before my sight from the east and the west, from the north and the south. I recognized every country and many cities that I had been in and I almost in fear and trembling as I behalved the great sight before me and at that moment when the world came into view it began to lightning and thunder. As the lightning flashed over the face of the earth, my eyes went downward, and I was facing north. Suddenly I beheld what looked like a great giant, and as I stared and looked at it, I was almost bewildered by the sight. It was so gigantic and so great. His feet seemed to reach to the North Pole and his head to the south. Its arms were stretched from sea to sea. I could not even begin to understand whether this be a mountain or it be a giant, but as I watched, I suddenly beheld a great giant. I could see his head was struggling for life. He wanted to live, but his body was covered with debris from head to foot, and at times this great giant would move its body and act as though it would even rise up at times. and when it did, thousands of little creatures seemed to run away. Hideous creatures would run away from this giant and when he would become calm, they would come back. All of a sudden, this great giant lifted his hand towards heaven and then it lifted its other hand and when it did, these little creatures by the thousands seemed to flee away from the giant and go into the darkness of the night. Slowly this great giant began to rise And as he did, his head and his hands went into the clouds As he rose to his feet He seemed to have cleansed himself from the debris and the filth that was upon him And he began to raise his hands into the heavens as though praising the Lord And as he raised his hands, they went even unto the clouds Suddenly, every cloud became silver the most beautiful silver I have ever known. As I watched this phenomenon, it was so great I could not even begin to understand what it all meant. I was so stirred as I watched it, and I cried unto the Lord, and I said, Oh Lord, what is the meaning of this? And I felt as if I was actually in the spirit, and I could feel the presence of the Lord even as I was asleep. But from the clouds suddenly there came great drops of liquid light raining down upon this mighty giant, and slowly this giant began to melt, began to sink itself into the very earth itself, and as he melted, his whole form seemed to have melted upon the face of the earth, and this great rain began to come down. liquid drops of light began to flood the very earth itself and as I watched this giant that seemed to melt suddenly it became millions of people over the face of the earth and as I beheld the sight before me people stood up all over the world they were lifting their hands and they were praising the Lord at that very moment there came a great thunder and seemed to roar from the heavens I turned my eyes towards the heavens and suddenly I saw a figure in white in glistening white the most glorious thing that I have ever seen in my entire life I did not see the face but somehow I knew it was the Lord Jesus Christ and he stretched forth his hand and as he did he would stretch it forth to one and to another and to another and as he stretched forth his hand upon the nations and the people around the world, men and women, as he pointed towards them. This liquid light seemed to flow from his hands into them, and a mighty anointing of God came upon them, and those people began to go forth in the name of the Lord. I do not know how long I watched it. It seemed like it went into days and weeks and months. And I beheld this Christ as he continued to stretch forth his hand, but there was a tragedy. There were many people, as he stretched forth his hand, that refused the anointing of God and the call of God. I saw men and women that I knew, people that I felt would certainly receive the call of God. But as he stretched forth his hand towards this one and toward that one, they simply bowed their head and began to back away. and each of those that seemed to bow down and back away seemed to go into darkness. Blackness seemed to swallow them everywhere. I was bewildered as I watched it but these people that he had anointed hundreds of thousands of people all over the world in Africa, England, Russia, China, America all over the world the anointing of God was upon these people as they went forth in the name of the Lord. I saw these men and women as they went forth. They were ditch diggers. They were washerwomen. They were rich men. They were poor men. I saw people who were bound with paralysis and sickness and blindness and deafness. As the Lord stretched forth to give them this anointing, they became well, and they became healed, and they went forth. And this is the miracle. of it. This is the glorious miracle of it. Those people would stretch forth their hands exactly as the Lord did and it seemed as if there was the same liquid fire in their hands. As they stretched forth their hands, they said, According to my word, be thou made whole. As these people continued in this mighty end time ministry, I did not fully realize what it was And I looked unto the Lord, and I said, Lord, what is the meaning of this? And he said, This is that which I will do in the last days. I will restore all that the canker worm and the palmer worm, the caterpillar, I will restore all that they have destroyed. These are my people in the end times, and they will go forth, and as a mighty army shall, they sweep over the face of the earth. As I watched at this great height, I could behold the whole world. I watched these people as they were going to and fro over the face of the earth. Suddenly, there was a man in Africa, and in a moment he was transported by the Spirit of God, and perhaps he was in Russia or China or America or some other place and vice versa. All over the world these people went, and they came through the fire and through pestilence and through famine. Neither fire nor pestilence or persecution, nothing seemed to stop them. Angry mobs came to them with swords and guns and like Jesus, they passed through the multitudes and they could not find them. But they went forth in the name of the Lord and everywhere they stretched forth their hands and the sick were healed and blind eyes were open. there was not a long prayer. After I had reviewed the vision many times in my mind and thought about it many times, I realized that I never saw a church, I never saw or heard of a denomination. But these people were going in the name of the Lord of hosts. Hallelujah! And as they marched forth in everything they did as the ministry of Christ in the end times, these people were ministering to the multitudes over the face of the earth tens of thousands even millions seemed to come to the Lord Jesus Christ as these people stood forth and gave the message of the kingdom and the coming kingdom in this last hour it was so glorious but it seems as though there were those that rebelled and they would become angry and they tried to attack those workers that were giving the message God is going to give the world a demonstration in this last hour as the world has never known these men and women are of all walks of life degrees will mean nothing I saw these workers as they were going over the face of the earth when one would stumble and fall another would pick him up there were no big eyes and little you but every mountain was brought low and every valley was exalted and they seemed to have one thing in common. There was a divine love, a divine love that seemed to flow forth from these people as they worked together and they lived together. The most glorious sight that I have ever known, Jesus Christ, was the theme of their life. They continued and it seemed the days went by as I stood and beheld this sight. I could only cry and sometimes I laughed. It was so wonderful as these people went throughout the face of the whole earth, bringing forth in this last time. As I watched from the very heaven itself, there were times when great deluge of this liquid light seemed to fall upon great congregations, and the congregations would lift their hands and seemingly praise God for hours and even days as the Spirit of God came upon them. God said I will pour my spirit upon all flesh and that is exactly this thing and to every man and every woman that receives this power and the anointing of God the miracles of God there was no ending to it we have talked about miracles we have talked about signs and wonders but I could not help but weep as I read again this morning at 4 o'clock this morning the letter from our native workers. This is the only evidence of the beginning for one man, a do-nothing and unheard of who would go forth and stretch forth his hands and say, In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command life to flow into your body. I dropped to my knees and began to pray again, and I said, Lord, I know that this time is coming soon. And then again, as these people were going about the face of the earth, a great persecution seemed to come from every angle. And suddenly there was another great clap of thunder that seemed to resound around the world. And I heard the voice, the voice that seemed to speak, now this is my people and this is my beloved bride. and when the voice spoke I looked upon the earth and I could see the lakes and mountains and the graves were opened and the people from all over the world the saints of all ages seemed to be rising and as they rose from the grave suddenly all these people came from every direction from the east and the west from the north and the south and they seemed to be forming again into this gigantic body As the dead in Christ seemed to be rising first, I could hardly comprehend it. It was so marvelous. It was so far beyond anything I could ever dream or think of. But as this body suddenly began to form and take shape again, it took shape in the form of this mighty giant But this time it was different It was arrayed in the most beautiful gorgeous white Its garments were without spot or wrinkle as its body began to form and the people of all ages seemed to be gathered into this body, and slowly, slowly it began to form up into the very heavens, and suddenly from the heavens above, the Lord Jesus came, and became the head, and I heard another clap of thunder that said, This is my beloved bride, for whom I have waited. She will come forth even tried by fire. This is she that I have loved from the beginning of time. As I watched, my eyes suddenly turned far north, and I saw seemingly destruction, men and women in anguish and crying out, and buildings in destruction, Then I heard again the fourth voice that said, Now my wrath is being poured out upon the face of the earth. From the ends of the whole world, the wrath of God seemed to be poured out and seemed that there were great vials of God's wrath being poured out upon the face of the earth. I can remember it as though it happened only a moment ago. I shook and trembled as I beheld the awful sight of seeing the cities and the whole nations going down into destruction. I could hear the weeping and the wailing. I could hear the people crying. They seemed to cry as they went into the caves, but the caves in the mountains opened up. They leaped into the water, but the water would not drown them. There was nothing that could destroy them. They were wanting to take their lives, but they could not. Then again I turned my eyes to this glorious sight. this body arrayed in beautiful white shining garments. Slowly, slowly it began to lift from the earth. As it did, I awoke. What a sight I had beheld. I had seen the end-time ministries the last hour. Again on July 27th at 2.30 in the morning, the same revelation, the same vision came again exactly as it did before. my life has been changed and I realize that we are living in that end time for all over the world God is anointing men and women with this ministry it will not be a doctrine it will not be a churchianity it is going to be all about Jesus Christ they will give forth the word of the Lord and are going to say I heard it so many times in the vision and according to my word it shall be done. I provoke you with the question, where in the Bible does it tell us in order to fulfill biblical prophecy of restoring the promised land, you must plant an olive tree for a gift of $159 plus $5 for shipping and handling. This lie goes on to tell the reader that by planting this tree for a gift of money, it will give you a physical connection to the land of Israel that lasts for centuries. This modern-day, energetic, atheist prophet takes audiences by storm with his cohorts who scheme their twisted false doctrines and have made a ministry out of the Word of God. Their doctrines are false and their words are lies which ensnare the minds of weak-willed Christians who have no discernment or discretion of the opportunists who so cleverly deceive them. The title of this message today is called, Beware of Last Day False Teachers Among You. This false prophet also touts that he has holy anointing oil in a 16-pack that you can order from him as well. He says, this holy anointing oil is made exclusively by my olive tree, that is a business, my olive tree, with oil that was harvested from this prophet's personal olive tree grove in Israel. It is made in accordance to Exodus 30. He continues, I'm always humbled and amazed at God's goodness in allowing us to participate in the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. A partner of the aforementioned modern-day prophet who is the pastor or rabbi to what is called the Life Church, on a particular day, he was pressing and intimidating his congregation for money. And here's what he said. The first thing you need to do is absolutely keep the first fruits of your giving and get that seed in the ground as soon as possible. So what first fruits is, it is the first fruit is tithing. You need to make sure that you tithe 10% of your income. And since I'm speaking to Life.Church, that 10% needs to go into Life.Church, okay? And I want to say this, that 10% spiritually doesn't belong to you, okay? The Lord gives that to you to sow back into the kingdom, okay? If you have financial problems, yes, prayer is good. Yes, fasting is good. But what really causes financial problems to break is giving. And so if you will follow the 10% to the Lord, don't rob. We're in Passover week right now. You can sow a seed into Life.Church for Passover, okay? That's an offering. That's a first fruit to your increase over the 10%. And whatever that amount, that's not really a percentage on it. That whatever the Lord tells you in your heart, okay? Wow, what a spiel about planting a seed. This kind of doctrine is called Word Faith. A definition of word faith, the word faith movement is a loose collection of preachers, prophets, and teachers who put great emphasis on worldly success and the power of a Christian to control their own future through positive acts. Though almost always rejected by those who follow it, this concept is known as prosperity theology. In short, the word faith movement is not only unbiblical, it is completely heretical. This doctrine stands opposed to the concepts Christianity has taught throughout its history. The core claims of the Word, Faith, Prosperity movement are that God desires is that all Christians to be happy, healthy, and wealthy. And these teachers often claim that God allows a person to speak their desires into reality as though they had created power similar to that of God. Sickness, poverty, and other struggles are seen as evidence as lack of faith, or at least a poor application of it. Dear listener, today in this year of 2021, we need to be very alert and knowledgeable in truly knowing God's word and sincerely living it. Not only that, we need to be full of vibrant discernment as these days are growing more evil. That is, 2 Peter 2, 1-5, the word declares. But also in those days, there arose false prophets from among the people. From among the people, let me pause here, says from among the congregation. Amen? So it is false prophet arise from the congregation of people, from amongst the church. Just as there will be false teachers among yourselves who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines, destructive heresies, even denying and disowning the master who brought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. Verse 2, and many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings. Because of them, the true way will be maligned and defamed. Verse 3, and in their covetousness, their lust and greed, they will exploit you with false cunning arguments from the old sentence of condemnation. For them has not been idle. Their destruction, eternal misery, has not been asleep. Verse 4, for God did not even spare the angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them there to be kept in the pit of gloom till the judgment and their doom and he spared not the ancient world but preserved Noah a preacher of righteousness with seven other persons when he brought the flood upon the world of ungodly people so the warning here is that we must stand firm in the midst of the famine of the word of God in order that we do not get drawn into any kind of easy believism or apostate teaching both as Peter and Apostle Paul have warned about. Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians chapter 16 verse 13, be alert and on your guard, stand firm in your faith, your conviction respecting man's relationship to God and the divine things, keeping the trust and fervor born of faith and a part of it. Act like men and be courageous. Grow in strength. I really like the amplified version of the Bible for really expounding on the word of God. Really appreciate it. Going back to our opening scripture in 2 Peter 2, verse 2. And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings. Because of them, the true way will be maligned and defamed. Well, the interesting thing, or maybe I should say the tragic fact about many false teachers is that they are successful. Many people flock to them, listen to them, and end up following their shameful ways. We were in Myrtle Beach a couple of weeks ago and met some people near the beach and struck up a conversation with them. In talking with them, a woman in the group we were talking with asked so excitedly, Do you know of Perry Stone? My husband Lee just nodded his head yes without saying a thing. The lady gathered that Lee didn't have anything more to say about it, so she pressed him. do you like Perry Stone? And with that Lee said I don't like what he teaches. The sad thing about this encounter was that these people were enamored and infatuated with the person. The woman was like this man was almost on par with Jesus Christ. In our conversation with them none of us could remember there was any conversation where they mentioned Jesus's name. Now amazing how the spirit of air captures the mind and soul of those who do not personally know their Savior Jesus Christ. They are like blind bats following their lead with human emotion instead of by the Holy Spirit who has given two true believers to lead them into the truth and fill them with divine knowledge and discernment so they won't follow a familiar spirit. Now going back to 2 Peter, we seem to be doing this a lot, I must preface, before we go on there, that I'm really utilizing this scripture to make my point, I guess, in the message today because between Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul, they really are emphasizing this fact for the last days. So go with me. I don't like to even say as I belabor this. I maybe could say I belabor it in a positive way. So we're going back, amen, to 2 Peter 2, 2, where Peter said, and many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings. Because of them, the true way will be maligned and defamed. Whether these abusers of the faith be charlatans or lying prophets or seducers or who take sexual advantage of their congregations or schemers who twist and pervert the doctrine of Scripture, they're all guilty of blaspheming our Lord Jesus Christ and are designated for condemnation as the scripture says Peter goes on to say in verse 3 to describe their damnable heresies Verse 3, And in their covetousness, their lust and greed, they will exploit you with false cunning arguments. From old, the sentence of condemnation for them has not been idle. Their destruction, their eternal misery has not been asleep. Verse 4, for God did not even spare the angels of sin, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in the pit of gloom till judgment and their doom. Verse 4 describes the doom of these wicked people who live in the moment and think that their lives will go on and on and on. And because of their false doctrines, they deny Christ and the purity of his truth and ways. And secondly, they lead people into hell with them by their convincing words and partial truths. The mix is not okay with God. This verse tells us that because of their lies, perverse ways of living in extravagant lifestyles and deceptive ways, their sentence of eternal misery and destruction is swift and suddenly. 2 Peter 2.2 really caught my attention when it says that, and many will follow their immoral ways, lascivious doings, and because of them the true way will be maligned and defamed. This latter part is saying that these apostles bring shame upon the word of God and especially our Lord and Savior when they act contrarily to the truth. This is one of the atrocious ways in which they deny our Lord Jesus Christ. People of the world, unbelievers or weak Christians see this and say, well, this is not for me if this is how Christians live. The God-haters of the world and the heathens are always quick to judge those who profess to be Christians and who live immoral and lascivious lives. The way of the truth is maligned and defamed, the scripture tells us. And it seems very acceptable these days in our modern society that there is such an abuse of using the name of Jesus Christ for profit and gain. There's no shame in the scandalous scheme that charlatans and spiritual imposters use as fraudulent gimmicks and clever underhanded ploys as a mean to trick the ill-informed and unwary churchgoer with their evil motivations of sheer greed and human vanity. the horror of this prosperity gospel is designed to steal money from the gullible weak the ignorant lazy folks who refuse to grow up and be transformed into jesus christ which will yield a far better reward and that is called eternal life hallelujah the real horror here dear ones is that god's own son came to this earth in agreement with his heavenly father to die a horrible death upon the cross for all who would choose to live in him by the wonder-working power of the Holy Spirit and to be conformed into the very likeness of his creator and savior. God spoke out of a cloud and announced to the people in the presence of his son and the people around in the temple and said, This is my beloved son. Listen to him. there is no excuse for anyone who does not obey or listen to those who teach the truth and endeavor to lead God's elect into the knowledge of the truth and there is no excuse for those who hear the truth and choose not to obey it the growing apostasy in the visible church today is accelerating at warp speed, it seems. The spiritual blindness of so many professing believers and their leaders is truly astounding. The sad state of the visible church is both a product of the famine of the word and the cause of it. When the word of God is seldom heard or read or taught, then its divine purifying power is silenced and non-effective in the ears of those who sit in the pews each week. And it's very sad that the world and its ways now coexist in the visible church. Understand, true, genuine believers are new creations in Jesus Christ. They are those in whom the Word of God is bringing transformation in. And this work in the individual is called God's workmanship. Look with me, please, in 2 Timothy chapter 4, verses 3 through 5. For the time is coming when people will not tolerate, endure sound, and wholesome instruction, but having ears itching for something pleasing and gratifying, they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number chosen to satisfy their liking and to foster the airs they hold. Verse 4, and will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. Verse 5, as for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry. Our chief apostle also tells us in 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 14, but as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you have learned them. Those things that you have heard, being convinced of these things isn't on a physical or a natural state of mind. Being convinced is saying that you see and you understand with the eyes and the ears of your spirit that are being transformed by the work of the Spirit of God within you and this precious ones is called godly discernment but going back bearing with me again to second timothy 4 chapter 3 that says for a time is coming when people will not tolerate endure sound and wholesome doctrine, wholesome instruction, but having ears itching for something pleasing and gratifying. People will not tolerate sound and wholesome instruction, but will have itching ears for something pleasing and gratifying to their souls. And this says that they want cotton candy. They want to hear preaching that is soothing to their ears. And if you've ever eaten cotton candy, remember how when you first pop a bite into your mouth, the taste was so sweet, but it disappeared so quickly? Well, the false teacher who teaches a doctrine that is sweet or tickles or causes one's ears to itching ears is a man pleaser and cares nothing for the things of God or the people of God. Paul said, a time's coming. People are not going to endure sound doctrine. They're going to have itching ears. They're going to accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. and this kind of false teacher loves praise and being popular with even those of the world they speak much about happiness but very little about sin they teach a whole lot about heaven but nothing really about hell they preach a partial gospel and we have to know that is really not a gospel at all. Apostle Paul said in the last days, people will depart or turn away from the truth. Also, Paul talks about in 2 Timothy 4, chapter 3, a time will come. We already covered that in the scripture. A time will come. That's very interesting. The word for time is kairos or season. And the word time in the Greek here means a set or proper time. Always, another word for always or opportunity, a convenient time or season, a time, a while, it's a space of time, which designates a fixed or a special occasion. For the time to come here is a moral and spiritual appointed time in society that will be as such that people will not tolerate the unchangeable and fixed gospel of Jesus Christ. So Paul is saying here that the time will come that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is unchangeable and fixed, people are not going to tolerate it at all. Instead, they will cling to a mix in truth and the moral values that are presently most acceptable in society, as perverse and gross as they are. We see the infiltration in the church of so many abominable practices that are being allowed and okayed. What they really want to hear is the modern day things that will conform with society and the times that are relevant for today. This is what they really want to hear. And this could be called a culture or the culture of the moment. So people will progressively spiral downward in moral values. they will forsake what God's word declares regarding his righteousness and purity in our outward demeanor and mostly as well as growing in maturity and purity of our thought life and living in righteousness in these days that we are living right now because the time will come that people will continually deteriorate as our chief apostle warns in 2nd Timothy chapter 3 verse 1 he says this we also know that in the last days perilous times Cairo will come so the word for perilous means fierce there are fierce times that will come as a result of the way people in the church are living. This word in the Greek is used to represent dogs and wild swine, perilous. Likewise, it is used to describe the demons in Matthew 8, 28. As Jesus was walking on the other side in the country of the Gadarenes, two men under the control of demons went to meet him, coming out of the tomb so fierce and savage that no one was able to pass by. And behold, they shrieked and screamed, What have you to do with us, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come to torment us before the appointed time? Very interesting, isn't it? Fierce means in the New Testament Greek, in number 54, 67, fierce means dangerous fierce or perilous jeremiah lamented in his day that religious leaders were conforming to the low morality of the people jeremiah chapter 5 verse 31 the word says the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests exercise rule at their own hands and by the means of the prophets and my people love to have it so but what will you do when the end comes you see god intended that the prophets and the priests would convey his message to the people as an eternal and unchangeable truth, but they were evil in their day too, perverting the truth just as we see in our day as well. God's word can never be changed because it is eternal truth that stands forever. When God's word convicts us by the power of the Holy Spirit, we must allow it to change our lives. And this is the beauty of the new creation. The Lord through prophet Jeremiah says, what will you do when the end comes? Though we live in a nation that has tried to make abortion of little babies legal, it cannot make it right in the eyes of our wonderful creator God. He has declared in his word that we shall not kill. And many of the false teachers in the visible church gone along with this lie and horrible atrocity and made it right even in their congregations. And those who have made these decisions to enact this murderous evil law have allowed a tremendous loss of life that has also caused life to be devalued. Every single aborted little baby has a soul is made in the image and likeness of our creator God. These wicked people are putting themselves in place of God and making decisions contrary to the word of God. And because of these delusions and concepts of perversions of the truth of God's word, men and women desire to hear these that make them feel good about themselves rather than hear the truth of the precious book of life. These people do not want to hear that they are sinners and that God's judgment awaits them. They prefer the worldly way of life with all the comforts that money can buy over the precious promise of eternal life that comes by faith in Jesus Christ. They do not want to hear teachers who remind them that their present life and the way they live now will determine their future place in heaven. But just as Paul and Peter have warned us today, they will search out false teachers who will tickle their ears with pleasing messages and things that they really want to hear, even though these things oppose the truth of the living God. The warning is clear for all of us who have ears to hear. I finish by repeating again the scripture in 2 Timothy 3, verse 14. But as for you, continue to hold these things that you've learned, of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you have learned them. May the Lord be merciful to us all. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen. Thank you. As I was seeking the Lord for a word to bring you today, I kept hearing what I believed the Lord to say. Sound the trumpet of the forthcoming times and warn my people to be ready for these days and give them hope for their future in the promises I have already given so that they do not become weary of well-doing and neglect their duties and responsibilities to me. So out of obedience to the Holy Spirit and my Lord Jesus Christ, I am going to bring you a word that is vital to the body of Christ. It is a wake-up call for many of us. As Christians, it is important to our physical well-being but mostly it is vital for our spiritual well-being. Let's open our Bibles and begin to read in Acts 2.16. Acts 2.16. But this is what was spoken of by the prophet Joel. And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. and on my men servants and on my maidservants, I will pour out my spirit in those days and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall turn into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. Well, these scriptures are talking about the last day harvest. Yes, there is going to be a great move of God. But verse 20 says that after God pours out his spirit, the sun shall be turned into darkness before the coming of the great and awful day of the Lord. Where and how do you and I fit into God's scheme of things in these days that many are calling the last days? These days will be all about Jesus Christ and about its coming in all power, in all glory with the armies of heaven riding with him. Jesus Christ is coming for his bride. I ask you today, are you personally preparing for that day? Scripture declares, the Holy Spirit says, today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion. during the time of testing in the desert? What a warning to us all. We're living in the days where there is much apostasy in the church. I hope you heard that with the urgency in which I said it. We are living in days today, right now, where there is much apostasy that is permeating the church, dear ones. We have gotten away from the simple foundational truths and principles of God's word, which leads us into the meat and the very depth of Christ's mysteries and secrets through the revelation of precious Holy Spirit spoken of in Paul's prayer in Ephesians 1.17. There is a present move in the church which is affecting many, many unsuspecting and ignorant and uninformed Christians under the guise of an apostolic reformation. These people use buzzwords like DNA, dominion, God's chosen ones, seven mountain theories, and their interest in New Age religion is extended along with unusual and much conversation about angels and so on. They believe that God lost control of the earth in the Garden of Eden to Satan when our first parents sinned. And their belief is that the church must rise up and take it back and put the enemies of God under their feet. This is totally contrary to God's word. Jesus declares throughout the New Testament that he has been given all power and all authority by his Father in heaven. Paul's epistle in 1 Corinthians 15, 24 declares, After the end comes, the completion of time, when he, Jesus, delivers over the kingdom of God to the Father. Hear that. Jesus delivers the kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every other rule and authority and power. For Christ must be king and reign until he has put all of his enemies under his feet. So we see who has been given all power, all authority, and who will put what under his feet. You see, this group of apostles have formed strategies and plans and have appointed individual territories and subsequent authority over these cities and states. They believe that they must take over the world for Christ. And to do this, they take over their homes, the church, schools, government and policies, the media, arts and entertainment and sports, and finally commerce, science and technology. They believe that until they conquer this earth, Jesus cannot come back. And he's held in heaven until they do. Now, this move has claimed over 100 million Christians around the world at this present time. And it is highly organized. And their intent is to take over the world for Christ, they say. We also live in a day and time where we have as a church set a whole raft of records. I don't believe that we have seen since the 1500s records be set for the most financially corrupt age in the church as we have it today. There was an error or age in the church where you could have your sins erased out of God's ledgers for cash. We don't do that today. But with our setting up ATM machines in our churches between the pews to provide convenience for our churchgoers, our mass mailings, business reply envelopes, four-colored brochures, professional mass marketing and fundraising campaigns, and sermons on stewardship, the pastor has already become one of the best marketing specialists and promoters that puts the world to shame. The world even comes to the church to see how we do it. And we say, it is God. Many of these Christian leaders live in a materialistic world and comfortable mansions ranging from one to three million dollars and have no shame in their extravagant way of living. We have more and more men and women walking the earth today with doctorates in theology than any other age of time. And there are endless reams of papers and books written on endless varieties of subjects. An age that produces men and women who deliver mind-boggling sermons on the how-to doctrines of prayer or how to live this Christian way of life and how to know God, how to worship God, but yet know very little of its deeper experiences for themselves. we live in an age where a great many of the people in the church and its leaders really do not know jesus christ in a real and deep and intimate way for many their lives behind the pulpit and what they preach is contrary to their secret way of life which god exposes in its proper time Reverential and obedient fear of the Lord is a lost path for a great majority. And we as the church talk about chasing God and being God lovers and being passionate about Christ and have written many books on these subjects, but have only produced sterile, sophisticated and passionate gestures towards God who know very little of Jesus Christ in death. we as the church seem to look for the gifts and the anointing and run somewhere for the presence of God we seem to want to run somewhere to have hands laid on us so that some kind of ministry or gift that will be imparted to us instead of looking for the one and the only gift that God gave to the world, and that is the Son, Jesus Christ. We seem to want to run quickly to the altar to receive a blessing instead of the one who blesses us. We've gotten so far away from the true mission and purpose of the church, and that is to point people to Jesus Christ. Instead, we draw them to all the activities and the galas that will keep them entertained and feeling good about church. This approach to church doesn't provide the loving care and nourishment that God intended for his leaders to carefully equip and build up his precious church. Now, having given you some of the real and raw facts and conditions of the church today, I ask you, what are you doing to prepare yourself for these days that lie right ahead of us? I'm sure most of you are aware the condition of the world today. America is a nation who is dying in her sleep. Our United States of America stands on the brink of going broke and also is faced with a battle for her freedom as a nation under God, as the war is on to make her come under the banner of socialism and next step communism. Our Christian freedoms and God-given rights, according to the Constitution, are hard fought for as the war wages on. And never have we in the United States of America been faced with such challenges as we are faced with today. We could easily, at any given moment today, be like Pakistan, without food, medical help, and all the necessities of life. Our brothers and sisters in the Lord there and many pastors and church leaders say that they had lost everything, including the seed to plant next year's crop. They have no food, no clothing, no shelter. And as I said in a moment, we too could be there because of lack of true leadership in our nation. these precious people live in a nation where living out their christian faith is very difficult because it is a muslim nation and these people were told during this disaster in pakistan that if they would convert to the muslim faith they would be given provision but they refused and instead go without food without clothing or shelter because they refused to renounce Jesus Christ Dear ones what can we look forward to in this time What promises do we have? There is a prophesied time to come that scriptures call a great falling away that will occur during the last days. Over 12 years ago, an article in a leading Christian magazine stated that over the last 10 years at that time, 112 million Christians in the United States have left the church and are wandering around. And since that date, it is now 22 years later. How long is long in God's time frame? When will Christ return? I don't know, and you don't know either. But we have warnings in scripture that tell us to be ready at all times because Jesus will come like a thief in the night. We have the warning as well in 2 Thessalonians 2.3, which declares, let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first, unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come. We know according to the book of Matthew 24, where it speaks about the terrible time of tribulation in the end times, that there will be earthquakes, natural disasters, and so on, besides the great falling away, that these signs and happenings indicate the return of Jesus Christ. As we have discussed, there is a great apostasy being set up, and I might add, that it is not including only one segment of the church, but it is crossing all denominational lines. It began with the Pentecostal and or charismatic denomination first, and now is spilling over into others with their agreement and consent to lead their flocks in the same direction. Will you be one of those in these end times whom God will not pass over as he passes out the gift of ministry and anointing to be effective in the last day harvest. The book of Matthew 24 speaks about these last days and the great harvest that will take place. Matthew 24, verse 11. And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity. but he who endures to the end will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom, the gospel, will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then will the end come. How can we be sure that we are in God's will and will be included as one of those who will be instrumental in bringing in the lost and equipping them in this great harvest if we should live until that time? Look with me, please, in Ephesians 1.3. The word declares, Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Verse 4. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ in accordance with his pleasure and will. To the praise of his glorious grace which he has freely given us in the one he loves. Verse 7. In him we have redemption through his blood. The forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. He has made known to us the mysteries of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment, to bring all things in heaven and on the earth under one head, even Christ. Verse 11, in him we were also chosen having been predestined according to the plan of him who works everything out in conformity to the purpose of his will that we who are the first to hope in Christ might be for the praise of his glory. Did you know that these verses are declaring that you and I were chosen by the Father in the past long before the creation of the world? And that means that the Father saw you and me before we even existed. He loved you, dear one, when you existed only in his eternal idea. What love he has for you. This great love of God was all the while reaching through the eternal ages of time, never once lessening or wavering until he laid a hold of you and redeemed you by his son's precious blood for such a time as this. Chosen by the father in the past and redeemed by the son in the present. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God chose us for salvation and sanctification before the foundation of the world to make us in his image and likeness and has presently given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. Verse 4 says that while he himself was in the planning stage, he had chosen us in him. He predestined us before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. All of this springs from the infinite love of God's nature because he loves us. I don't know about you, but this thrills me and excites my spirit. And because of the reality of his truth, the Holy Spirit begins to witness the revelation of this as a truism, which is more real than life itself. God loves me. He chose me and he predestined and adopted and called me. He has washed me free from my sins and in his own blood to be holy and blameless in his sight. And he has a plan for my life. He has a plan for your life too, as you live in Jesus Christ, his son. These things will only happen, dear ones, as we truly live in Christ. And if you don't understand what living in Christ really means, then please do your homework and be a good student of the word. Jesus Christ is the head of his precious church, and he shall have the bride whom he died for because he had a promise from his father. Apostle Paul in these scriptures that we have just read prayed and thanked God for the people. He prayed that God would show them just who Christ really is and what he has really done for them and what he has provided for them. And most importantly, who they are in him. Dear ones, we are the body of Jesus Christ, the only true and living God. We are in covenant with him and each other. We are in a new gospel era. and we need to understand truly the verse in Ephesians 1. Typically when people hear that God has predestined them, they first think about the work that he has for them to do. They think about the action or the doing before the conforming. And mistakenly, many ignorant Christians run out to do something for God, even if it's wrong. I call it putting the cart in front of the horse. Instead, they need to reread these verses and see first things first. God called us, chose us, predestined us, he elected us to first be made in his image and likeness according to his plan. he works out everything in our conformity to the purpose of his will that we might be for the praise of his glory that we might be truly true worshippers of him this will never happen precious ones if you never sit at your master's feet and neither can you know his plan or will for your life if you never sit long enough for the wonderful work of conformity or sanctification to take place. You will never learn to hear his sweet and tender voice. Sitting at his feet does not speak about passivity. Quite the contrary. Paul said to Timothy, Son, study to show yourself approved of God. I believe we can really see the parable of the ten virgins here. There was a time when they were all asleep. But the difference is, when the call came, that clarion call, the five wise virgins kept their lamps full and they had extra reserve of oil on hand. Keeping our lamps full signifies the pure light of Jesus Christ, causes the light of holiness to shine forth from us. Holiness represents the beauty of the Lord. And this is called the truth. The oil represents the Holy Spirit's presence and anointing. The oil typifies the Spirit's wisdom and righteousness. Everything of the Spirit points and directs us to Jesus Christ. And God will use people like this. As your soul dies to its own fleshly desires and turns itself humbly to obey the great and living God because of deep love and respect for him, then the light of God's holy conformity in your life is kindled and becomes radiant, and it shines forth before God and men to accomplish what it is purposed to do. This is a wise place to be now in this present moment. And not only that, it will last into eternity and provide you a place at the bridegroom's table, at the marriage supper of the Lamb. This is what we are predestined to become, the bride of Christ. This is why we were called and chosen. We are to be a reflection of him. We've been called to be holy in our conduct. The ultimate goal of our election is that we might bring praise and glory to God and be known as true worshipers of God. Jesus saw you first in his eternal idea before the ages of time began and then he reached through the eons of time never once wavering never once lessening his determination until the moment that he caught your attention and gave you the unction in your spirit that you needed his son Jesus Christ and he laid a hold of you He saw you as part of the bride whom he loves very much. But Jesus will not marry anyone who does not really love him. Most wonderful love story of this quest to the father to find a bride for his son is found in Genesis 24.1 in the account of Abraham calling his trusted servant, Eleazar, who is representative of the Holy Spirit, who went searching for a bride for his son Isaac, who is representative of Jesus Christ himself. And these scriptures tell us when Eleazar found Rebecca, he described her as very beautiful and attractive. She was chaste and very modest. And this is the kind of bride that Jesus Christ will have. She will be beautiful in his holiness. she will be chaste and she will be modest not in dress and demeanor only but also in her inner thought life and the way that she expresses herself in her outward conversations this servant once he knew that rebecca was the one chosen for isaac's bride he lavished her with gifts and then he asked her parents for her hand in marriage on behalf of his master's son The key to this whole story that we are discussing lies hidden in verse 58 of this chapter. And it is when Rebecca's family asked her, Are you willing to go with this man? And she answered, Yes, I will go. Dear ones, when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, You not only received the best gift ever, but you made a commitment to follow him. You received the clarion call to come forth out of the darkness and follow the lamb wherever he goes. Me too. And the Holy Spirit, just like Eleazar, lavishes God's elect with gifts and promises and blessings. And the love story between Isaac and Rebecca is wonderfully profound. The love that they had for each other is the kind of love that Jesus Christ has for his bride. She follows him because she loves him dearly. And he jealously protects her. you were asked from the beginning of your call, your invitation to come to Christ. Will you go with this man I ask you have you been following the lover of your soul your bridegroom with a burning love for him and a passion that is full of hunger and thirst that will not rest or be quenched? Song of Songs. Chapter 1, verse 4. The maiden says to her lover, draw me after you we will run after you the king has brought me into his chambers we will rejoice in you and be glad we will extol your love more than wine the upright love you well the maiden in song of songs says we will run after you once the love for her her lover was awakened in her inmost being, her spirit and soul is the we.
