Hey guys and welcome once again to Treasure Hunters Report here on Classic Cinema Magazine. We have been doing these videos for a little bit now and showing you some interesting treasures you can get at different stores. One of my favorite stores that I love is FYE. And I love to go to FYE and be able to check out some of the cool stuff that they get in sometimes. And first off, I just want to show you something that I got at FYE. And it was very, very cheap because I only buy the cheap stuff. I guess I'm cheap. But that's part of the fun of being a hunter is to find the stuff for like next to nothing and be able to get it on get the Blu-rays and DVDs for like next to nothing. You know, that's the fun of it. So something that I picked up while I was at my local FYE just a few probably a little over a year ago or something. It's been a while. But it was something really cool and I couldn't pass it up. And it was brand new in the packaging. And this was unbelievable. It was only $2, brand new in the packaging. You're going to be shocked about this. I'm still shocked about it. $2, brand new in the packaging, never been opened. The Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1. I love this because look at this. Look at that. Look at that. Look at that shiny packaging. That's the slipcover. I love that. That is so cool. This was actually not a bad series. It was pretty fun. Not as great as the movie series by any means, but definitely a pretty fun little series. And, yeah, it was only $2 for the first season. Now I've just got to get the second season and I'll be all set. But, yeah, it's really, it was pretty kind of cool. Pretty cool. I liked it. I liked the Sarah Connor Chronicles So yeah ended in a cliffhanger but that typical of most TV series anymore The TV companies sit there and go we don want to put any more into it and then they leave us hanging. But anyway, it's a good series. I like it, definitely. Only $2, yeah, in stores, pretty cool. All right, now, as I did that, now I'm going to go with stuff that I've done in a different way. A lot of times treasure hunters, they like to go to the stores and get the stuff in their hands and feel it and see it and check it out. There is another way you can go about being a treasure hunter. And I do it via FYE all the time because it's a good way to get stuff for like really, really cheap. A lot of times FYE, if you sign up for FYE notifications and stuff, they'll send you a little promotional code. and a lot of times they'll give you 10% off, 20% off, 30%, 40% off. I've seen as high as 50% off. And sometimes you'll even get free shipping and handling with that. That is unbelievable. And these huge things here, this big stack here, I got with free shipping and handling and 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% off. so kind of keeping in the vein of the Sarah Connors thing I had this, this was like 40% off, free shipping and handling I paid I think just a little over a dollar I was hoping for a different cover the cover that was shown on the website was not the cover I got but it's not a major deal but anyway, it is the original Terminator on Blu-ray Yeah, it was just a little over a dollar. I think all told, when I was all said and done, it was something like $1.50 or something for this because it was a clearance item. It was used. It was like 40%, 50% off, and it was free shipping and handling. So when I checked out it was like maybe a little less than that so not too bad not too bad to get the original Schwarzenegger classic Terminator yeah for only a little over maybe a little under a buck fifty I not complaining All right, other film that I love, and I got this for just over, a little over a dollar, and it is the two-disc Blu-ray set of Mel Gibson in Braveheart. I love this film. It's a great, great film about William Wallace, and I just love this film. I've watched it many, many times, love it so much. Great film. Very, very violent, but war is violent, let's be honest. But it's a great film. Love it so much. and it was only a little over a dollar. I'm not complaining. It's another way to get some great media. All right. The next few that I've got here are all superhero stuff. First off, I love Iron Man, the Iron Man mythos. It was, I think, 30% off free shipping and handling, so all told, this cost me like 75 cents, I think, 75, 77, something like that. This is Iron Man Rise of Technobore. This is unbelievable to be able to get these type of things for like 77 cents, I think it was, or something. And you don't have to pay shipping and handling. That's the cool thing about this. So, yeah, you can do this from FYE. Unbelievable. So, yeah, Iron Man Rise of Technobore, like 77 cents, I think it was. Unbelievable. Another film that, I love these animated films. I really am a fan of the animated films. I think they're pretty cool. the DC films are doing a lot better they seem to be killing it DC seems to be killing it in the animated and not so much in the live action where Marvel's killing it in the live action and not so much in the film, in the animated but this is still not a bad one, I had to have it anyway it is Doctor Strange Sorcerer Supreme this was another one of those times where it was like 40% off and free shipping and handling I think what I paid for this was about 90 cents for this total So not too bad Not too bad at all So there you go Another one not a great film but I mean when it was all said and done, I got this. It was used. It was clearance and it was like 30% off free shipping and handling. It cost me 74 cents. Electra? Yeah, I'm going to pull the trigger on that. Not a great film. Like I said, Electra is not a spectacular film. But for 74 cents, not too bad. I'm not going to complain. It's on my shelf. If I ever want to see Electra again, well, there you go. Just so that I have it. 74 cents, I'm not going to complain. So there you go. And at FYE, they had a 50% off. this was on clearance and it had free shipping handling and so all told I think I paid something like 65 cents I think is what I ended up paying for this Superman Returns 2 disc collector's edition set in widescreen, the whole 9 yard special edition, you can get good deals online so definitely, I do suggest signing up for FYE for notifications They will send you those type of things, and you never know what you can find.
