Thank you. I know one who really cares. So one day at a time, no matter what's from my way. I'm not giving up for it, no matter what I say. With the Lord at my side, I'm never alone. I'm destined to win. So step by step, I'll take it one day at a time. One day at a time. One day at a time. One day at a time. One day at a time. Hey, this is Pastor Jay once again with you here on the video blog. You know, interesting this week, I thought I understood what love truly was all about. Because I understood the love that Jesus gave to us on Calvary. But this week, I learned about a different kind of love. A love that I had been missing out on all along. You're not supposed to be in here I don't know how you got in here But you're getting out of here I'm going to tell you that right now Because I'm calling Miss Jones Miss Jones Wait a minute, I just thought of something She told me not to call her Because she has stuff to do But I don't want you in here Hey, you know what? I think I saw a cat down the street Go No, no, you're not gonna go Why won't you leave? Ah, that's it. I'm calling Miss Jones. I'm on a video chat. She'll just have to accept it. Let's see. Miss Jones, please answer this. Miss Jones. Miss Jones. What does that man want now? Miss Jones, what is that? Well, maybe it's a cow. A cow? What, are you blind or something? What is that? That's a dog. Yes, it's a dog. Thank you. Now, what is that dog there doing in my office? Well, maybe she's trying to try and knit you a sweater or something. Let's not be funny here, Ms. Jones. You know I don't like dogs in the church, and I especially don't like dogs in my office. How did that dog get into my office? Well, maybe a cat brought it in. I want you, you, to come here into this office. I want you to get that dog, and I want you to take it out of my office, and I want you to do it now. Well, it may take a while because I've got things that's got to be taken care of, reports that's got to go out. I've got things I've got to do, so you're just going to have to wait. What am I supposed to do with this dog in the meantime while you do your reports? Well, I guess you could sing it a lullaby, you know. Sing him a lullaby. Thanks a lot, Miss Jones. Sing him a lullaby. Sing him a lullaby. Well, then... Go to sleep Go to sleep close your What am I doing here? Don't get comfortable, because you're getting out of here as soon as Miss Jones gets done doing whatever she's doing. Ugh! Don't get no brilliant ideas, dog. I don't share with anybody even if they do have four legs. I got work to do. And yes, I am working. Yes, hello. Pastor Jay here. Oh, yeah. Yeah, well, we had talked about that earlier on. Yeah. Yeah. I'm ready. I'm going to take her to the pound. So, uh, so, uh, so, you know, what are they going to do? Are they going to, like, find her a new home or find the people that lost her? Or what are they going to do? No. They're going to put her to sleep. What? No, they're not. They're not putting my dog to sleep. Your dog? Well, yeah. Yeah, I decided to adopt her. Ms. Jones, meet the newest member to our church. This is Diva. Hello, Diva. Welcome to our family. Yeah, you're so pretty. Yes, you are. Yeah. Pastor Day loves you huh You know I never really realized what I was missing until Diva came in my life Diva has transformed my existence I've never understood what love truly was all about until she came in my life. Now I have an animal that depends upon me. If it's not for me taking care of her, I don't know what would happen to her. That is a very, very precious thing to have in your life. You know, God loves the animals. I mean, you can see that in the beginning of the creation story. In the beginning, in the very first chapter of the book of Genesis, in the book of the Bible, it talks about how God created the animals. And when he had created the animals, he said, It is good. He was pleased with the creation. He was pleased with the creation of his animals. You know, when we think of the creation story and we think of all these beautiful animals that God created, We think, well, they're just to be there. They're just to be on their own. But God loves those animals. And God speaks to the animals. You want proof of that? Look at the story of Noah during the flood. The flood was going to come upon the earth and going to destroy all of mankind. But God loved his creation of the animals so much that he decided, you know what, I need them to survive. And if you read the story, Noah did not have to go and get the animals. God spoke when the flood was about to take place, when the rains was about to fall. God spoke unto the animals in pairs and said, you need to go to the ark. And the animals went to the ark. See, God's creatures listen to his voice. That's something that a lot of times we as humans don't even do. We don't even listen to God's voice. But the animals do. Psalm chapter 24 and verse 1 says, The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and all that dwell therein. See, we have been given an amazing gift by God. We as humans are to take care of these precious little creatures. But what do we do more often than not? We find people that are abusing dogs and cats and different animals. We find animals being pinned up that should be free to roam around. we're doing horrible things and we're going to be judged for those things one day when we stand before God it's something that we need to think about well that's all the time we got right here on our video blog this is Pastor Jay and my new little friend Diva saying goodbye, God bless and we'll see you next week right here on our video blog Say goodbye, Diva. Bye, everybody. So one day at a time, no matter what's from my way I'm not giving up for it, no matter what others say With the Lord at my side, I'm never alone I'm destined to win, so step by step I'll take it one day at a time One Day At A Time One Day At A Time One Day At A Time One Day At A Time Thank you.
