Discovering God's Will: Dreams and Desires

Your desires are not by accident, but from God.

God puts longings and passions in you for a purpose.

Your dreams are for a reason, not for personal gain.

Fulfilling your dreams fulfills God's purpose.

Those desires that you have, those passions that you have, those wishes that you have, those deep rooted dreams that you have are not just by accident. Joseph didn't just randomly think about his dreams. God gave him those dreams. The scripture talks about in Philippians 2.13 that God put those longings, those passions and those deep yearnings in you so that by fulfilling them, you fulfill your purpose. What I want you to know is the dreams that God has given you are for a purpose, for a reason. So you get to a place where you say, God, I believe these dreams are from you. I believe that you have put these desires in me for a purpose, not for myself, not for my name, not for my glory, but so that through it all, I will fulfill your purpose. I will build your kingdom. I will be able to glorify your name in and through my life.
