Praise God. Do you know what day it is today? Besides being Anzac Day. Something happened 39 years ago. We started Living Word. Thank you for your excitement. Man, I thought I would have got money thrown, congratulations and everything. 39 years ago. in April. That's who we did. And we never really wanted to start a church, and we still don't. That doesn't mean that we don't love church, but we didn't. Yeah, too late. 39 years too late. You know the story? We had started church down with Dwight, Geraldine, myself. Renee I think was yes Renee might have been just a couple of years old Jeremy was only a dream that not even manifested yet and we had started down at the actually we were having Wednesday night meetings in our home just for a couple of months and that purely because I believed that God had called me to be a teacher and I still do that and I still believe in the gift of teaching on my life for that but definitely not pastoring I did know at that time that I was also called to be a prophet as far as the ministers are concerned, our church is concerned too but never in a lifetime did I ever, ever think that I was called a pastor and I remember in November, I've shared the story but I want to do it again because it's just so funny I said to the Lord, I said Lord we need a pastor we had moved down to 8 Mile Plain State School there with just a few people, I think about a dozen at the most and I said the Lord we need a pastor and he said by the end of November you'll have a pastor so I gave him his 30 days 30 days turned up and I said Lord looks like you we had tried to find a pastor all over Australia all the Bible schools and everything you know and we were even willing to pay them too but we couldn't find anyone that wanted to come and at the end I said to the Lord looks like you didn't keep your promise I have a very honest relationship with God. I don't have any problem going to God any time to the throne of grace and saying, see this, this is a candle that's burning both ends. I feel like I've got the stick at both ends here. It makes no difference. And I've said to God plenty of times, and you might think, oh, my goodness. I said, are you listening? Now, I know God does listen. He listens to everything even before I pray of that. But, you know, have you gone on holidays? Have you not been well? and that you might think well that's funny saying that to God but I think he's got a sense of humour you know he's got to have a sense of humour he doesn't talk much and that and he said yes you do you do have your pastor it's you so we've stuck it out for 39 years can you believe I never thought it would be 39 years never a million years you know I didn't think I was going to live past 54 and that devil had lied to me for years that I was going to die the same year that my dad died when he was 54 and that. And that, no, 57 actually. Yeah, 57 it was, that's right, he died. And not 90 and 57, 57 as far as age was concerned. And I didn't fear, I don't live in fear, but you can have this hindering thing, you're going to die when your dad died. Well, got to 57 and after that I said to the devil one day, I said, well, you were wrong, weren't you? And then that year I was talking to my brother and he said, no, your dad died when he was 54, not 57. So I thought, oh, no, I've been lied to again by the devil. You know, he never ever tells the truth. You know, every thought that you think that is negative, every thought that you think that is, you're not sure if it's God or not, but you know that he lies, he doesn't tell the truth. you know he never ever he never ever can quote scripture without perverting it and so if you know the scripture which I know that you do if you know what the Bible says and something comes along that's got a little bit of a slant on well then I know it's a lie and I know you know when the devil's lying it's what he's talking because he is a liar from the beginning and that's who his nature is in that. But I prepared a message as far as Anzac is concerned. I do want to have a bit of a slant on it as far as the end times are concerned too. And I want you to, if you don't have your Bibles there, it's all good. In Matthew 24, I'm going to read this to you. And this is what it said. It's a passage that we're familiar with. It's not one that we don't know. And you might think, well, what's it got to do with Anzac? Well, it does have a lot to do with Anzac. And it goes from verse 5, and this is what it says in Matthew 24, verse 5. For many will come in my name and say, I am Christ, and they will deceive many. Now, when I read this, I know that this is talking to the Jewish nation, but also the world also, because of the context of it. and i want you to know this and i and i always make this very personal when i read the bible and i and i read this very honestly so that i don't read it like it's talking about someone else it's talking about me not about someone else jesus answered saying to them now be careful so i need to be careful you need to be careful that no man deceives you now that's not he's not talking to the world because they're deceived anyway he's talking to christians in the church so as time gets closer and closer we know that's true as time gets closer and closer and we'll have a look at a couple of passages quickly in a moment in relation to that that certain things happen people people's love for the Lord goes goes warm goes cold that's not talking about the world it's what my Christians you might say oh no my love for the Lord will never go cold well then Jesus lied so I don't always say oh it's about Darren or it's about Bill or it's about Mary or it's about Paul or someone else no it's about me and I have to watch that my love doesn't go cold for for the Lord why because the Bible says that you know I have to make sure that I stay in love with the church you know people say I love the Lord but the church is the Lord and the Lord is the church you can't divide the two uh it's impossible to and and it says here it says here verse five for many will come in my name and say i am christ and they'll deceive many worldly people know because because worldly people don't don't care who's christ is so not only that he says to the christians of the day it says here that be careful that we don't get deceived and not only that make sure that you know that that you're not are not part of the christians deceive many that's many it's not just a few that's many for many will come in my name and say i am christ or i have the anointing actually and they will deceive many verse six and you are bound to hear i'm reading from the aramaic bible you will are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars King James says of wars and rumors of wars watch out and do not be disturbed for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet so it says there that wars will come verse 7 says and rumors of war the nations will rise up against nations kingdoms against kingdoms and there'll be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places so what he's saying is that these things we'll just say the last since the first world war we've had a lot of wars in our world more than as far as history is concerned. So we have to be as Christians, we have to be wise, we have to be smart and think, well, these are the end of the end days. But he's saying, but the end is not yet. Because he's saying there that before the end comes, there'll become a lot of deception. And it'll be spiritual perception. I was watching a show on the Christian television, and not being derogative or running them down or any way or anything, but, you know, I was embarrassed. you know there was um it was um in a certain country i won't say who it is i won't say it's america but um did i say america did i uh it's out now isn't it well and um there would have been 10 000 people there there are a number of ministers none that are of our kind praise god but you know and that and he got up he was the main speaker and he got up and he says i know that you know i will may offend some people, but I don't know most of you, I won't offend. You know that we are the only country in the world that is allowed to have guns. And he says, I think every Christian should have a gun and should be trained how to use it because as time gets closer, we're going to need to know how to use it. Isn't that terrible? And I'm telling you, 10,000 people rose to their feet and clapped and cheered. so you know what Jesus said to um to Peter when he cut off the servant's ear he said if you if you live by the sword you'll die by the sword and then if you live by the word at least if we die by the word of God we'll die knowing we're doing the word of God now should we defend our country yes that's not what it's talking about but but what we are we have something that is more powerful and faith in that something that is more powerful than anything else we have faith in god's word which is far stronger than any type of weapon that man can ever ever produce now if you don't believe that that's okay but i do but i know many of you do believe that because when we speak god's word i believe that when we speak god's word god honors his word that we speak or that i speak or that you speak i believe that i believe that he doesn't it doesn't honor someone who's got a more notable ministry than me or someone that doesn't have no ministry i believe that god honors his word whoever speaks it but it's faith in god's word that's what causes it to action it's faith in god my faith in god's word that causes god's word to be relevant and true for my life and that so he says here and your life so he says here but all these things are just the beginning of travail it's not the end but they're the beginning then they'll deliver you talking about just talking about that about about about the the christian that is basically basically um on fire for god and doing something for god it says they'll be against you they'll deliver you over to be oppressed you know when you stand for god in your workplace marketplace in your family where when you stand for god there is always opposition because that's just what it is this is that's what jesus said that the word produces opposition so it says here it says that they will kill you and yes some christians will be killed for what They believe they'll hate you. Yes, people do hate us today. And nations, for my name's sake, they're not hating me, but they're hating the name. For then many, it says, here will stumble. Who are going to stumble? The saved. Saved people are going to stumble. As it gets closer to the end more saved people are going to stumble I say this respectfully not disrespectfully And they stumble because they will lose sight of who they are Lose sight of what is the purpose? Why was I saved? What, to go to heaven? No. No, no, no, no, no. Wayne and I were not saved to go to heaven. We will go to heaven, but we were saved for a great love that someone had for me and that in that great love that someone had for me and died for me that I have a response a responsibility to share that love that's that is that is why God died now you might ask the question why why did he have to die because if I could say it this way the earth was not given to God he gave it to us when I say given to God he didn't make the earth and then keep it and say, I'll look after it from this moment on. He made the earth and he gave the earth, your earth, your life, your planet, your little plot of ground that you're living on. And this is what he said. He said, I want you to do, I want you to attend and I want you to care for it. He said to Adam and Eve, to the Adams family, he said, this is what I said, and every human being that is born, you must tend and you must care for it. As a man, I have a responsibility. My children are grown up now. They have a responsibility to tend and care for their own. But I tend and care for my camp that I am responsible, which is Geraldine and the cat. Let's just leave the cat out of it, okay? But I have a responsibility to tend. I have a responsibility to close the gate and to keep the gate closed from the enemy getting in. When Geraldine gets sick or I get sick, Isn't that the enemy getting in? No. No, that's not the enemy getting in. I'm smarter than that now. I don't think, oh, my goodness, I've left the gate open for the devil. No, I haven't. Because I could put my hand on my heart. I'm not saying this about you. I can put my hand on my heart. And I know if I've done what's right, then what is right will be done for me. And will be done for you. So I don't have any problem with the devil. I don't worry about the devil. I don't even talk to him. I don't care. I don't know where he is because I know he can only be in one place at a time. So if he's at Wayne's place, he's not at my place. So if Wayne's ringing up and saying, my God, I'm having trouble with the devil this week, you can celebrate because he's not at your place. He's over there. When he leaves Wayne's place and he goes to someone else, he's not at my place. He's not running around trying to get into my place. but the old man is because that's his avenue you see he uses the old man now the old man is the old ways and the old intentions the old thoughts and the old emotions they are part of me but they are not me they are part of you but they are not you because you're a new creation you're a new species you may look the same and as time goes on you look in the mirror you see yourself getting older but if you were to look in your look in the mirror the christian mirror of the bible you would see that you're not aging you're not deteriorating you're not you're not having sleepless nights because the new man is renewed day by day so i image myself when i say i not that i'm doing this perfectly but i image myself by what the Bible says about me. And if I image myself by what the Bible says about me, what the Bible says about me will image me to me. So he says this, he says, then many will stumble and they will hate one another and betray one another. Yes, they do. And there'll be many false prophets, not in the world, in the church. what a false prophet is is someone who prophesies something that's going to happen and it doesn't happen that's a false prophet yes but they're going to name themselves as prophets and declare prophet things well then you can't say thus saith God and it doesn't happen and then make up an excuse 85% of the prophets in America prophesied that Trump was going to get in. Besides many other things that they prophesied to. Didn't. Now are they false prophets? Well the Bible says that they made false prophecies and that means they're false prophets. Do they say truth? It doesn't say that a false prophet doesn't say truth. It just says that a false prophet prophesies false things and that prophecy is false. So they don't follow those things. but they run like anything and rah rah rah rah. What amazes me is how people forget. If you just forget and keep following the prophecies that are said. One big church who has a prophet that is over them says there that we don't do anything because he told us that when the Lord does anything he'll reveal it to the prophet first. And that's in the Bible. But that's in the Old Testament. the New Testament says that we don't need prophets to teach or to rule us we have the Holy Spirit we have the Holy Spirit living in the inside of us and when he urges us to do something then that urge is for us to do something because it will better us it will make us righter and better you might say well but I've tried listening to the Holy Spirit I've tried doing that and it didn't work out. I tried riding a bike once. I fell off. I ran into the back of a bus once. It was parked. It wasn't funny at the time. The back of the bus in my face became well acquainted. And people just stood in the footpath and laughed. I picked up my bike, picked up my face because it was underneath the bus somewhere. but it was that last time I did that I also was trying to ride a bike once on a rainy day down a hill and a dog ran out and I put my brakes on it's not fun especially if you put the front brakes on you ride bikes you know what happens that's when your bum hits the top of your face so not only now does my face look like a bus but it looks like my backside too so but I can ride a bike now because I've learned a few things not only that I couldn't drive a car when I first started I know some of you still can't but that's not my problem you know but and man has made it easier for us so that we don't stuff up things like reverse parking like pulling over on people on the freeway doing all sorts of things you know running into someone and the backside and everything, you know. Only if my bike had that thing that my car has today. When I get too close to someone, it stops. And I don't even do it. It's smarter than me. Stop. Slow down. You don't want to hurt yourself. And that's what the Bible does to us. It warns us and it keeps warning us. The Holy Spirit says that he will teach us. What does he teach us? He teaches us things to come. He shows us things that he warns us. He shows us. and he also says to me he says this is the path to it if you keep going down this path this is what will happen now I know what will happen because I've seen it happen in many other people's lives good people's lives too and I've seen it happen in my own life if I keep going down a certain path and not do that I know that the future is not bright and I'm like you I want God's best I want God's best for me and for the people that I know and the people that we pastor. It says here there will be many stumble and they'll hate one another. They'll betray one another. There'll be many false prophets will arise and will mislead great many. Great many what? Great many Christians because that's what the Bible says. And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold. How does the love of something become cold of God? How do I? I love God. How could it possibly become? I love Geraldine. How could it become cold? It would become cold because I spend less time with her. I don't look at her and admire her as much as I used to. I don't tell her I'll bring flowers. I don't tell her as much as I love her and do things for her and that. So my love becomes cold. and at the end of the day, I mustn't love her anymore. Then I start to look elsewhere and I look at other people's women. I look at this, I look at that and think, oh, maybe it's not God's will. Maybe it's not this. And I've heard all these excuses from Christians that have even said that God told them to divorce one and marry another one. You know, this is really. And one couple on the coast, forgive me for even saying this, they were making love and praying in tongues and they said in the counselling they said it had to be God because we were praying in the spirit while we were making love but they were committing adultery now you think how stupid how stupid but they believed that but that's just as silly as we say stupid things and we say oh it's okay it'll be alright it's only a small thing but it's not because it's the small foxes destroy the vine but he who has patient to the end will be saved so he's talking about Christians and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come it's an interesting passage and there's a passage I'm just going to get to two more passages not to frighten you but just purely to say it's in the Bible not to try and get something more out of you, more commitment out of you, because I don't try that. I'm not interested in trying to get you to be more committed or get you to do this. That's your choice. Or even to get me more committed, that's my choice. But in 1 Timothy chapter 3, this is what it says, or chapter 1, sorry, 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 1. Sorry, up the back up there. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 1. Now it says, now the spirit speaks expressly, not man, the spirit, that in latter times some shall depart from the faith. People say, oh, you know, you're saved, you know, you're saved, you're saved forever. Well, I don't know, I just want to show you what the Bible says. Some shall depart from the faith, following after misleading spirits. Christians who have the Holy Spirit, following after misleading spirits. now it's not taught misleading spirits as far as devils are concerned but as far as people are concerned and doctrines of devils who with false appearances mislead and speak lies and are seared in their own conscience who forbidding to marry demanding abstinence from foods which God had created for use and thanksgiving of those who believe and know the truth For all things that are created by God are good Nothing is to be rejected if it be received with thanksgiving. It is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. That's why we say grace. Why do you say grace? Well, we say grace because we're thankful for it. One more. 2 Timothy 3, verse 1. now he says this again know this that in the last days disastrous times will come dear God it's getting worse disastrous times will come and men will be lovers of themselves lovers of money proud, conceited, blasphemous, disobedient to their own people it's interesting you'll know the King James says to their parents but actually says to their own people ungrateful, wicked moves on and says here verse 5 says having a form of godliness but far from the power of god from such turn away now i was preparing this like this and then the lord said to me he said um do you know there are many christians trying to trying to stop the war if Jesus says something or wars if Jesus is saying something then Jesus is saying something man's not saying it so he says here that wars must come they have to come because they will come nations will rise up against nations kingdom against kingdoms people will be diverse in their appreciation for each other as kingdoms as nations are concerned so you see we can't pray against the war we can't go and say god stop the war right now in ukraine now christians that are praying that may just just go fishing because you've got more chance of catching fish than stopping the wall because we won't stop things that god says will happen if people become lovers of money and lovers themselves more than lovers of God and say oh God just turn my husband around turn my wife around just turn my kids around turn this turn that that won't work either because the Bible says what's going to happen that's what the Bible says so if the Bible says it's going to happen well God just you know I'm just believing that I'm just believing for a husband not me I'm just believing for a husband I'm just believing for a wife and that I'm just believing for this amount of wealth this amount of this but what if it's not God's desire but doesn't God want you to be married I'm talking about but it may not be God's desire for you to be married it may not be God's desire for you to be a millionaire it may not be God's desire for you to own this or to do that it may not be so so all you do when you pray is frustrate your your faith and the grace of God but but but pastor it says in Mark 11 and let me read to you Mark 11 and we've been taught this it says here in verse 24 it says therefore I say to you God saying anything you pray for and ask believing that you receive it it will be done for you that's what it says God that's what it says there what do you mean pastor you just said that what if God doesn't want you to have that I'm just believing this woman's going to be my wife but what if God doesn't want you to have that lady to be your wife or that man to be your husband or the things that you might be believing for I'm just believing that I'm going to be the best at this and I'm going to do this and I'm going to do that but what if that's not part of God's plan for your life but how are we to deal with this well all we have to do is have a desire and it's okay we can desire anything but it's not going to work and it says here we know it has to be conditional because this chapter because verse 25 says that when you stand up to pray forgive whatever you have against any man so that your Father in heaven will forgive you your trespasses. But if you will not forgive, even your Father in heaven will not forgive you your trespasses. So that one's conditional. But I do forgive everyone, Jesus. I'll live a forgiving life. Then everything I desire, then that it's right. You know, I want this job. I want this contract. You know, I'm praying and I'm believing and I'm confessing it. But what if it's not God? Is God going to say, oh, I'll tell you what. your faith is just stronger than mine I'll just give it to you now I know that we've quoted and said Israel prayed for a king and God gave it to them because they prayed and it was a bad king anyway it was a terrible king that's just one instance there's no other instance of that happening well but let's have a look at Mark 9 let me read to you Mark 9 verse 23 and Jesus said this to him if you can believe everything is possible to him who believes well I just want you all to believe that we are all going to be richer than Elon Musk now come on if it says that why can't we be the next Elon Musk why can't we be you know at the age of 12 he invented a program and sold it to a company for $500. Four years later, when he just turned 17, he had created another program that he sold to a company for $300 million. Now, that is a wow, isn't it? Of course, the rest is history, isn't it? Why can't we all be, there's enough wealth to go around for us all to be like that and have everything working exactly the way it's supposed to be because there are things that are limited to us. It doesn't mean that we accept where we are, but there are things that are limited to us. But how can I find out what is God's will? Let me take you to another passage in 1 John 5 and verse 14. And this is what John says here at the latter part of his life. and this is the confidence that we have in him that we ask anything according to his will he hears us so now we have another passage that is sort of defining a little bit more clarity to as far as asking is concerned can't I just go and you said pastor whatever you put your foot to wherever you touch with it you know you can possess Yes, if it's his will. If it's his desire for you. But it's my desire. I want it, God. I think it would be right for me to have this, God. But this is my desire for you. My desire for you is much greater and will work out much more blessed in your life if you desire what I desire for you. That's why the Holy Spirit, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is given to us to teach us. What is he teaching you? How does he teach you? He teaches you by the word of God. Does he teach you by the word of God? But what if you were around for the first thousand years or so where there was no word of God written down? No Bible that you could pick up like we do today and read. well what happens then? Is there something that is outside of what we have as a privilege today, the Bible being written down? Is this the ultimate for us or is there another way that God teaches us? God teaches us in everyday events. the Holy Spirit has been given to us to teach us when we make decisions to do things or not do things he teaches us he gives us he gives us a he gives us the feeling of having a shower with your socks on you know like there is something wrong there is there is something not right so I'm not going to do that there is something not right with us And if we follow that, if we endeavor to follow that to the best that we can, even though sometimes it's not what I want to do, but it's best to do what he wants me to do than not what I want to do because I know that he has the end best for me. And he will make my end blessed every moment of my day. There's been loads of things I've prayed for and not received. loads loads and i said to the lord i said well why didn't i get that law because i was really down because we needed the money we need the work uh and that to survive in those days i needed and the lord said let me show you what would have happened you showed me what what what would have happened if i if i'd got that and i said thank you jesus for not giving me that contract thank you that you had my best interest he started to teach me church how to exercise faith in what he wants me to exercise faith in and not exercise faith in what I will what I want now God wants a lot of things for me and he wants me to want a lot of things but at his time does say that there are times and seasons why wouldn't God you know why wouldn't God allow his children for 400 years to have the crap beaten out of them and then eventually he says I heard their moanings and their groanings and I decided to send them a deliverer. So he sent them Moses didn't he? But what happened is Moses was energetic and enthusiastic like a lot of us we hear God's word we hear it this is what I want you to do Dwight I want you to do it my way I want you to faithfully do the best you can my way but he says in doing it my way things are not going to always work out the way you want them to oh what's the use of doing it your way we can do it the other way where nothing works out we can do it my way when it will always work out in the end for you well I don't know about that you know I've got by the way I've you know I can go in there and I can tell the people God's word and they can respond to me it doesn work like that Dwight I can go out there in the world and demand this and command this and do that He said it doesn work like that Dwight The reason why it doesn is because he turned up the Pharaoh and said let my people go. Just being with the boss boss said let my people go. He said no. That's what the world does to us a lot of times. Don't you say no. No you're not. Oh well God didn't want me to have it then. It just didn't work out. It wasn't God's will for me to be healed. It wasn't God's will for me to own my house or this or that. So because it didn't happen, it mustn't be God's will. Now God wants us to find out why things don't happen. Not just say, well, it mustn't be God's will, because that's the old charismatic, the old way of tackling things, you know. But the old way of faith is, Wayne, you didn't have enough faith. It didn't work out. You just didn't have enough faith. You do your best. You sow some more seeds because you're told to. You do some more this, more praying and more that, and they still don't work out. So you give up and hope. And hope this one day maybe will work out. But you said, what's the other things you desire? Well, I'm just going to pray my will over people. Lord, stop them from doing that and doing this and doing that. What if they don't want to? You can't make your will over people. I can't make my will over my children. They're adults now. of course, still can't even when they were little. They still have a will. Now, when they're small, you can do certain things besides kill them. And, you know, they might be obedient to you, but they still don't want to do it, just like you today and me today. But the best way is to do things. They don't have to be logical. They don't have to be all the ducks in line and that. but God told Moses to go back and keep going back, to keep going back. Now, the Pharaoh was a type of enemy as far as today is concerned. I've told him to just go, keep going back, keep going back, because eventually you'll walk out, and that is the salvation. You'll walk out and you'll be blessed. I'm free from Egypt, free from Egypt. it was only a couple of nights later they looked back and they could see this they could see this in the daytime they could see the dust trail coming pharaoh's out i'm not gonna let that that's what the enemy does to us today we're in our healing or our prosperity or our church attendance or our tithing or whatever it might be you know difficult times come along so we drop off we don't do it we don't do what we know that we should do and we say oh it'll be all right god understands it's not that god doesn't understand god understands he wants us to understand that the best what you want in your life is what god wants for you but he wants it his way for you and that's the best way we have been doing this for 39 years jesus i think that you should you you should at least have we should at least have a few more people Jesus one for each year is not what I started off for you know 39 years praying the same thing praying the same way what God has a plan God has a time for 35 years we sat at that other place God said sit there sit there until I tell you what to do never said anything else and one day he said this this is what he said he said sell didn't he he said sell we did sell he said and who will buy it and this is what they'll pay they paid two million dollars more than what it was actually worth that's ridiculous isn't it I was happy to sit for 35 years looking back I was thankful to sit for 35 years because look what God has blessed us with but we owned everything then we were happy we were contented we were doing it i hated doing the grass that's for sure looking after that but everything else was good and god said this is this is how there is a time and a season for everything will you grow to whatever you want to well i have a desire to but do you know it may not be his desire now i have a desire to and i will always have that desire because I trust God that he will add to his church daily such as that should be saved that he will he will build his church the gates of hell won't prevail against it because that's what he said which is if you do it in my time right if I bless you if a lot of people are not does it does it mean that you're not blessed does it mean that you're not faithful does it mean that you're not, when I say this, not one of my favourites because we are all one of his favourites. Does it mean that? No, it's not because at the end of the day, God honours faith. That's what he honours. He honours trusting in him. But I can't just do silly things. No, it may not be just God. Because we have to let God be God and our faith in God allows God to be God. But it's not working out, God. So I am thankful to God for that. You are thankful to God for that. If I'm thankful to God, then he deserves everything that I think that he asks of me. Do I do it right? No, I don't do it right all the time, but I'm endeavouring to do it better every day, just like you. I don't want to have lazy faith I want to have strong faith in God it says fight the good fight of faith it's a fight to keep your faith I'd like you just to close your eyes just as we finish just before the announcements are going to be done whatever you might be struggling with in your life whatever you might be planning in your life whatever you're how you're predicting your future what you desire in God God wants you to ask him what I'm doing is this what you want me to do I don't have to ask him that about pastoring I don't have to ask him that about loving Gerald because they're things I know but the obstacles Jesus are so great obstacles that just keep coming all the time and that you keep confessing God's word over it but I'm getting tired, I'm getting weary that's what a fight does it makes us weary, that's why we can trust him and we can rely on him because he's my saviour that's who he is he is my saviour and he is your saviour and he loves you that much it wasn't his will this is my will father I don't know if I'm ready to drink this cup don't know if I'm ready to do this commit to this Father but I tell you what I know what's best I know I'm going to have to go to the cross I know the next stages of all this but at this particular time I'm willing to trust you in the garden he said not my will but yours Lord my prayer to you today is that in your life whatever you are doing in your life I trust what you are doing and what you want to do is God's will for your life it's not what you want because I know that what you want won't work very well why to know if what you want and what I want is what he wants all things work together for good because we love God because we are called according to his purpose and that's the Bible that's the Bible and I love his word church I love his book I just love him it's amazing it's amazing it's amazing Thank you.
