Life has a greater purpose beyond material things and the rat race.
A lack of vision can lead to extreme behaviors and mental illnesses.
Most people live without a clear vision of their purpose in life.
Discovering the truth about our purpose can be found by listening to others and valuing their pieces of truth.
The World of Humanities We all suspect that life must have a purpose, a greater meaning than ourselves, that there must be a grand plan of which we are a part. We're different from animals in that we can see beyond what is visible. Even with regard to material things, we can think in terms of the past and future of things, and we can imagine what the world would have been like before we were here, and what the future of the universe might be. All of this is part of having a bigger vision for what is happening at the moment. There are times when we cannot discern what is the big plan behind what is happening. When this happens and we don't have a clear vision about the purpose of our lives, we end up doing things without knowing why we are doing them. Living this way doesn't make sense, and in fact, it's a type of craziness. There are people who are diagnosed with mental illnesses that take this behavior to an extreme. They do things like count the pages of books, walk the streets without knowing where they're going, spend their days excessively cleaning their homes and other extreme ways of doing things that don't make sense. Other people can't see the meaning and purpose in life. They become depressed and they end up not wanting to do anything at all. They can become very sad about their lives, because they do not know what they should do. The emptiness of their lives sometimes leads them to suicide. They do not have a clear vision of the purpose of their existence, so they cannot see the point in living. In their desperation, they prefer to die and choose to end their lives. Now, although the world recognizes that these extreme cases are examples of people with mental problems, The truth is that most of the people in the world live without a clear vision of the purpose of their lives. Sometimes they spend their time doing things without knowing why they are doing them, and living a lifestyle that seeks happiness and satisfaction through things that can never give it to them. It's like what is written in Haggai, You have sown much and bring in little You eat but you have not enough You drink but you are not satisfied You clothe yourselves but you are not warm and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes However, since the doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists are part of the system, they do not consider that living a life without a greater purpose than making money is a mental illness. On the contrary, they teach that it is normal behavior. This lack of vision can be seen in many aspects of life. For example, some people spend their whole lives trying to be good in a sport, or they spend a lot of time and concentration to follow a sports star or a football team, and they do not stop to think about why this is important for their lives, or even if it has any importance at all. They don't take the time to question if life really has to do with these things. Others use their lives working to make their own countries look good, but they do not see how that fits in with the bigger plan, in having a vision for the whole world. They forget that increasing the wealth and power of their own country often ends up taking away from other countries, that we invented the borders, and that the natural resources do not actually belong to us. A lack of vision is also seen in many religious people who claim to see the truth about our purpose in the universe but who spend their time working very hard only to get more people to join their organization. They end up fighting with other people who are also trying to do the same for their religion. These people also need a bigger vision than what they now have. We believe there is a bigger plan that will help the whole world, and that it will make each part of our lives to work in harmony. The truth can be discerned in many ways, but each aspect of the truth will fit in well with this greater picture and will reveal more details of the grand plan and purpose for our lives. Unfortunately, the world today is full of people who cannot see the bigger picture. They each only promote the small pieces of truth that they have instead of trying to find a better understanding through listening and valuing the pieces that have been found by others Their own traditions blind them to the ultimate truth It's like what happened with five blind men who tried to explain what an elephant was. One touched the tail and said that an elephant is like a rope. Another touched the leg and said it was like a tree. One touched an ear and said an elephant is like a blanket. Another touched the stomach and said it is like a wall. And the last one touched the trunk and said an elephant is actually like a very big snake. They were all right, but they did not bother to listen to each other to discover the complete truth. Some people agree with anything that is said by their own group without understanding why they believe that way or why they do certain things. When someone challenges the errors of their group, most of the time they do not listen to the criticisms, and they defend their group, even when someone clearly shows them they are wrong. Many religious groups had very good ideals and good reasons when they started, but after a short time, the people in the group started working to promote the group itself and not to promote the ideals that the movement had when it began. Jesus spoke of an invisible government or kingdom that is not found in a specific location, nor can it be seen politically. He taught much about this kingdom, and it is part of the greater purpose that exists for our lives. However, nowadays, many people fight and they kill each other while they say they are working for this kingdom. But if we're honest, we can see that they're only working to promote their own religion. The invisible group that Jesus spoke of was not another religious system or another political system, but a spiritual movement. If we are honest and humble, we will see that we don't have all the answers. And when we are honest about this, we are going to learn more than the people who think they know it all and who don't listen to others because of their pride. A good leader will ask questions to see if their students can see the truth that they have been trying to show them and will be open to learning new truths even if the new revelation exposes some error in their previous understanding When they discover someone who has a more complete vision, they will not see it as a threat, rather, as someone from whom they can learn more. If you really want to know the truth, you won't be afraid to examine the small piece of truth that your own group has, and you will not stop looking for more truth. You will want to see more of the pieces, and you will want to put them together to help you see the bigger plan that exists for the whole world and for all of life. What is your reason for living? What is your vision? Are there questions for which you don't have the answers? Are you going to listen if someone has answers for your questions? Are you willing to learn from someone who has a clearer vision than yours? The first step in finding the answers is recognizing that we do not have all the answers. If we want to see better, we have to admit that we cannot see as well as we would like to. It's helpful to talk with others about the questions for which you do not have answers. We are also looking for more truth, and although we know we don't have all the answers, We know that God does have them. To find more of the truth, we must know more of God, focus more on the teachings of Jesus, and share with one another what we learn along the way. That is our vision. In our videos, we try to share what we have learned about the truth about the purpose of our lives, and we hope that together, we can work to discover and live a life in harmony with the great plan that God has for us, revealed primarily in the life and teachings of Jesus. If you have discovered this plan for your life as well, get in touch through the address that appears on screen to connect with others who want to dedicate themselves completely to doing God's will. We look forward to hearing from you. God bless you.
